What sort of crime goes on one's record if they get busted in sting?
These are my opinions based upon my experience and what has worked for me. Most dates can last anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or longer. My most recent date about which I posted yesterday lasted over an hour but that was because she had a room and I've dated her previously and we seem to get along very well. While I won't say that "she likes me", she does seem to be rather comfortable with me and therefore has never rushed me. So it can vary pretty wildly, I've had a more than a few dates which were very rushed. Regarding the Lowe's lot, I'd stay out of there at all costs. Almost all of the stings which SPD has done in the past couple of years were all in that lot. I stay out of ANY large lot both when picking-up/negotiating or while dating. Just seems to be higher likelihood of being stung but that's just me, others may have a different opinion on this. I usually park on public property when doing dates and stay out of private lots and businesses. This is fairly easy to do late at night but not so much if you're a day or early evening cruiser.
Don't talk through the window
I've been informed by this community (thanks all) that in recent years the ladies switched from just getting in the car to wanting to negotiate the deal through the car window.
Perhaps with the loitering law back in effect, the ladies will switch back to the old way. I have not picked up SW in a long time but back in the day I would not even make eye contact. Just pull up with the windows rolled up, as they approach pop the door lock open (makes a pretty audible sound). I look straight ahead. Usually. She gets in, shuts the door, and we drive away before exchanging anything other than "Hi I'm _ " Any variation to the protocol like her tapping on the window I crack the window slightly so she can hear me, say sorry. I thought you wanted a ride and drive off.
Supposedly LE will never get in the car with you because it creates too much risk for the officer (who is in a skimpy outfit not strapped with her service pistol).
That said almost all of these cases get plea deals so LE can use unfair and even unlawful tactics including the girl lying and claiming you made a deal when you didn't, since with a plea deal they don't have to prove anything. If you have a criminal record with these types of crimes already. Then you can't even claim entrapment.
Be careful out there.
My guess is that Seattle reinstated the city loitering law. Will useful to see how actively LE. Is using the law. In CA vice was using the law for sting operations. If you are stopped simply tell the officer you were offering the girl a ride. Just remember there is nothing illegal about offering a girl a ride. The key is to simply offer a ride. It is important to l make no mention of sex or any connotation that implies sex. The thing to remember is that vice will use anything they can to arrest you. The downside is that a lot of SW's like to discuss things through the window. If you are unsure if a. Girl is a decoy simply park observe. It will become very obvious if a sting. Is taking place. It is also important to recon to see if LE cracking down or not. If I am picking a girl at night I prefer to pull around the corner & position my car so it is facing the main drag. This makes it easier. To see if a cop is following you. I would use extra caution for the next few months or so.
There is a good chance that LE to will be more actively enforcing the law as a show of force.
RE: Don't Talk Through The Window
It's true that since the city council repealed the original loitering laws in 2020 that SWs stopped getting into cars to negotiate, preferring instead to talk at the window. The girls new to the scene were trained to do it this way. It takes less time to talk at the window then it does to get in and go around the block to negotiate. Simply put, you weren't getting a date if you weren't going along with how they wanted to do it. If I asked them to get in to negotiate, they'd usually ask for a small amount of money just for their time. Further, the city attorney said that sex workers were not their priority, rather johns were their priority so we were their target. Girls had a reduced fear of getting busted so they essentially did whatever they wanted. I'm not sure how the new loitering laws will affect that as in the law it states that any sex worker seen leaning into and talking at a car window is suspect. My very limited recent experience tells me that most SWs I see out there haven't yet changed their tactics.
A while ago I did consult an attorney who specializes in a lot of these cases just so I could be more informed as to how SPD did things out there. That lawyer told me that undercover decoys don't wear recording devices during stings and that they do in fact use questionable tactics to get an arrest. Apparently just talking to a decoy can get you arrested regardless as to whether or not you even talked services. There have been men who were arrested for merely offering a ride. Not long ago a forum member posted about his experience of getting busted on Aurora and he said that he was sitting parked in the Lowe's lot and the decoy approached him while he was sitting in the lot. He said that she wrote in her police report that since they both made eye contact this gave her provocation to approach him. There was a news article about one man who was busted in a sting in the same lot earlier last year and he fought the case by trial and the jury acquitted him because the city didn't have any actual proof (ie a recording) that he did what the decoy said he did. Instead the prosecutor tried to appeal to the jury that sex trafficking was rampant on Aurora and that approach completely failed. And while that guy won the case, he still has an arrest on his record along with the charge of Sexual Exploitation (that doesn't ever really go away, nonconviction data shows-up on background reports) and had to sit in limbo for a year with pending charges while his case went through the system. So they still fucked him in a way and they know it. Stings are a machine to SPD and apparently they don't really enjoy doing them so they crank through them as quickly as possible. They have the idea that the court can figure it out, let's just get arrests so that local residents can feel good about what we're doing. So I'm going with the assumption that if I come across a decoy and make eye contact, offer a ride or talk to her at all, I'm going to jail. The city is on a tear right now to appear that they are doing something about prostitution.

This brings up another question, why did pimps choose the AA 100th to 145th location?
There's a lot of middle class housing just a stone's throw from this corridor. Didn't they realize it was only a matter of time before the local families starting loudly complaining about naked hookers turning tricks in their backyard? Throw in the ever increasing pimp turf shoot outs and it stands to reason these families are super pissed about their once vanilla neighborhood turning into ghetto. Further north on AA past Lynnwood would be a more appropriate location where the nearest middle class housing is miles away.

General Observation and Sting Report
Still some nice SW activity out there in the later evenings though most of it is either on the extreme northern end of the stroll or south of 105th. I actually walked almost the entire length of the stroll on foot not many nights ago just for something different. Talked to a couple of SWs as I passed, most told me that it's been slow but no contact with police after the new loitering laws went into effect. I saw a few SPD cruisers doing the rounds and weaving in and out of various side streets but didn't see any contact. On another evening I picked-up a tall, lithe WSW wearing a reddish-brown long wig and wearing all black with tight stretch pants. Got her somewhere near 92nd, said she was visiting from Vegas and wanted to get the hell out of the rain so won't be staying long. Nothing crazy, just a simple BBBJ to finish which was okay but she seemed disengaged. Stopped and talked with a few others prior to that but none offered any good services, a couple of hotties working up on the northend got really snotty with me for asking and wanted to fight about it. I got the feeling that things were very slow for them and they were tired of standing in the rain with zero result. I hit the gas before the pepper spray came out.
I also noticed in the SPD data that there was another john sting last Wednesday, November 13th in the Lowe's parking lot. Same deal as always, netted five men between the ages of 31-40 between 7:30 pm and 10 pm. All but one were categorized as white men, a lot of these stings seem to net a lot of latinos and non-whites. From observation the last sting in October was also on a Wednesday night between the same times and in the same lot. So again for newbies here stay the fuck out of the Lowe's lot, anywhere from Krispy Kreme to Firestone or 127th. That entire area to me is a no-go zone on any night. I haven't really been seeing any SWs working that area as of late, so if you see any females strolling that sidewalk or lot do not go in there. Even talking to a decoy even without mention of services will probably end-up with cuffs on your wrists, SPDs attitude is to let you and the court fight it out. I'd watch any other major parking as well.
