Methinks you worry too much
Yeah, under the guise that these chicks are "victims".
I can't think of when a "John" was busted in an AMP in columbus.
Really, months of surveillance and hundreds of dollars for possibly 1 bust?
This is for hookers / SWs. Period.
I know some crossover to Sullivant / Cleveland / Hudson for the chase but I don't think too many.
Stay safe.
A novel idea? You be the judge.
I don't know if any of you hobbyists have had the chance to read this article, but the prosecuting attorney in Washtenaw County, MI is a forward-thinking individual. He has indicated he would no longer prosecute consensual sex work in his county. One has to applaud his move, and hope it would be duplicated across the country. This brings a bigger question into play. Why haven't the hobbyists of the world banded together and sought legal relief for what could be considered a restraint of trade? Sure the trade, in this case, is something that the general members of society may not agree with, but one must admit that the cat-and-mouse game that the police and others currently play is one that in the long run will never be won. If the police continue trying to bust the girls, it will only serve to drive it further underground. The girls already distrust the police, and will not come forward when raped, assaulted, etc. so why continue to harass them, and further earn their distrust? As far as johns go, it won't stop them either. Confession time. I have been popped 3 times in Dayton, and have even been to John School. Do you think that has stopped me? It has, in Dayton. Springfield and Columbus are now my go-to places. Johns will move around, folks. Stop one in Columbus, they'll no doubt drive the 50-90 minutes to another city, or will take their trade behind closed doors. It is time to end the stupidity and decriminalize, if not outright legalize, consensual sex work.

Such a great thread, but.
Isn't it really always local? (Tip oneill).
Most cities, including Cbus wait until a call or two complaining-usually neighbors.
Look at the Purple Clouds, investigation after they moved.
