Did you watch that video and see them. Watching all the traffic. If they were to ask whag kind of car, always say something wah different, or ask why. Aren't getting my car details.
Not sure what you're trying to say, but it has nothing to do with what I was wondering about. Texting, with the new laws, and then showing up, I would think would get you a solicitation charge. Engaging in prostitution is having sex for money, was my understanding.

Busts, stings
In my opinion, and I have engaged in this hobby for the most part of 45 years, it has become increasingly difficult and at the same time imperative that we protect ourselves. The change in the law that makes "inference" a chargeable offense shows that the existing laws were becoming increasingly ineffective.
What that means is that we as hobbyists MUST be sure in our activities to avoid even the inference of exchanging sex for money. If you are talking or texting a woman and she starts talking about money you have to realize that she is dumb as a box of rocks or bait for a sting, and avoid her, and at the same time state very clearly that you would never under any circumstance consider or propose any exchange of money for sexual favors. Unless she's your wife, LOL.
As far as going to a motel for fun, I prefer a motel for incall. Just not her motel. It is considerably less expensive to get a room yourself and pay for it than it is to hire a lawyer. And lets face it, its getting more expensive to play. Someone said something about preferring motels to an incall, being her motel. Its a lot easier for the pigs to arrange a sting in some house or motel than it is for someone to set that up in a room you just got.
I would write more, but I'm on moderation and don't want to get ti9 med out.

Thanks Cheech
Though I have only a handful of times partaken of this hobby I can't be the only one that feels we owe this guy. Thanks for the advice and for keeping us safe. If I ever meet you in person your drink is on me!

Thanks
Thanks for your comments Joe, I appreciate them.
Further to my statements, we can enjoy our hobby, but we have to educate ourselves to understand how our opponents operate. I have never once heard of a guy getting convicted because the pigs burst into a room while he was banging a willing partner. Never.
What that means is that it is always some kind of setup, and as long as we understand the law and don't fall into the traps we will be ok. The problem is the exchange of money for sex. If there is never evidence of that occurring there is no conviction unless someone caves. For that reason I have always preferred to get a room myself for fun times. If I get a clean room in a Motel 6, for example, I don't have to worry about insects. I don't have to worry about the room being wired. I don't have to worry about the "boyfriend" trying to rob me. I don't have to worry about the pigs bursting in, they have to have a warrant and I know they have to have a warrant to enter.

Video / cam session
This may be a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyway is it illegal to pay for video sex in Ohio, can you have a cam session with an adult female you meet on lets say craigslist or Stg, and agree to pay for video sex? Is LEO now trying to consider this a form of Solicitation?

What kind of dumb asshole would talk about services with LEO?

Cooperation doesn't mean shit, either. It saves you nothing. Your friend is your attorney, and you should never talk to Uncle LEO, even casually, without counsel.

On the other hand, set those girls up with an apartment and put your cash in a bank FFS. You're just asking for health code violations and people thinking you are trafficking women. At least make the attempt to run a straight shop.

Chester
From the article I would say they have no evidence. They clearly would have threatened to guys they questioned and tried to get them to cave. If the guys knew what they were doing they would have said nothing.
Also, and importantly, the pigs seized the cash. That's the point. Plus they get to play with other agencies, etc.

"Flaiz said Chester police conducted a covert surveillance of the business. Thereafter, police interviewed several male customers whose vehicles were observed in the parking lot. The men were questioned if more than massage services were given at the spa. None of the men were detained or arrested. ".
