I'm fuming right now. So I was on Broadway and I pick up this young cute looking brunette. Kind of slender body. She jumps in cop check and we agree on price. So we drive to a spot and there's cops everywhere. We drive to another location she knew. But there was too many people in the parking lot. Altogether we tried like 3 spots and I got paranoid. So I basically apologized for wasting her time. My mistake was putting the money in the cup holder where she already grabbed it. She starts saying "well I would of made this money if you didn't waste my time" . I was paranoid and turned off. She had big nasty scars on her hands and arms. Her teeth looked like she was chewing on bricks. She also had a star rattled on her hand. My spider sense was going off. Here we are arguing off of Broadway cops everywhere. She still was offering the deed but I was not interested no more. So I just told her to get out and took a small monetary loss. I was kissed for an hour. Avoid this girl completely. I think she said her name was amber.
Be careful out there RabbitGrunt. It sounds like you don't have a lot of experience picking up girls in dangerous areas. It's pretty normal to drive to a few different spots and it's very normal for these girls to have scars. They live a very rough life. Most of them have been beaten up in some form many times in their life. The drugs make them pick at their skin. They are junkies. That's what they do. I am not trying to be argumentative with you, just trying to educate. Street walker is a profession just like any other job. When you are working time is money. It's the same for a streetwalker. If they are riding around in your car they could be missing other dates. They want to go to work, make their money and get done just like we do. Even more so for them because they are going straight to the dealer when they are done with you.
You made a few really big mistakes that could get you killed or in a lot of trouble. #1 mistake was showing money of any kind. You never, ever show money in Camden until the merchandise you are buying is accessible to you and you are sure your surroundings are secure. And even then you should be worried. Showing money in Camden is the easiest way to get yourself killed. Everybody you pass in that town knows you aren't supposed to be there and they know what you are doing. They live it every day. Most are looking for an easy buck. Having money out is just asking for trouble not only because you might get robbed but now you have 1 more thing to explain when you get pulled over by the police.
#2 big mistake, Never fight with a girl. That town loves drama. Those girls will scream bloody murder until every person in Camden knows what's going on. Like you said, there is a cop on every corner and possibly a pimp somewhere within shooting distance. We have all picked up a girl we didn't like if you have done it long enough. Best thing to do is pull over and say I can't do this to my wife. I want to stay faithful. Here's $10 for your time. It was nice meeting you. They don't really want to date you, they just want money. Most will gladly get out. You have to pay them for their time, especially if you drove around a while. I've had a few that wouldn't get out. They want more money. What do I do in that situation? Well I throw out the rules about fighting and causing a scene and evacuate her from my car by any means possible. If you are going to pick these girls up you need to be prepared to go there. I had a few times dealing with these girls that I was lucky to come out alive. It's a dangerous game sometimes. These girls are street bread. Some are just plain nuts! I had one take a 1/2 gallon of milk and smash it upside my head while I was driving. (She got evacuated) This was after we hung out a few hours and everything was good. It was even our second date. I had no idea she was the slightest bit mad. She just snapped right in my car, right on Broadway in the middle of the day. You have no idea what is getting into your car.
If you are new to this you need to be more careful. Somewhere around here there are rules to follow. Read them over because they might save your life. Stay safe out there.
Went out from about 5 pm until 12 am (hit Philly in between). Saw maybe a handful of girls, some of them looked like they were new the others were beat up worn girls (most likely drug users).
Usually Summertime in Camden is popping, but it seemed not as active as before.
Not a cop in sight either which was suspicious to me.
The SW seemed to all be by Morgan Blvd.
Around 10 PM there were 3 LEOs talking to a woman at the light on Morgan, she was obviously a SW.
If the rumors are true they are cracking down, but I don't expect it to last or to make a dent. Give it some time and business will pick up again.
Meanwhile be careful, do a couple laps before you pick anyone up make sure nothing is out of place. As far as when they're in the car I'd be concern at this point that LEO is using known girls as bait, maybe take a few minutes before you start negotiating a price feel them out.
To me it's funny that CCPD goes after SW when the biggest problem is drug dealers, guns and blight. Arresting two consenting adults isn't going to clean Camden up but that's a post for another time and place.

Haven't been to Camden in years. What the hell is that monstrosity at the top of Broadway? Anyway, saw this WSW near where the Domino's used to be at the bottom of Broadway. Had to circle a few times to catch her attention. She got in and we quick did a LEO check. Apparently a few months ago a SW jumped into a Limo in front of HolTec (on Broadway and Morgan) and robbed the occupant only problem he was the owner of HolTec, he called the Mayor and the Chief Police and made a big stink, they've been cracking down ever since.
She went on to say that Gloucester City PD patrols unmarked in Camden too in order to help CCPD out. However she said they are more concerned with drugs, in fact some of CCPD and GCPD guys hook up with the SW too. (Don't know how true that is but wouldn't surprise me.).
Saw CCPD out in force Saturday and Monday, they were no where to be found Sunday.
A lot of the girls are hurting for dates and at the same time paranoid to do any because of the crackdown.
Things are calming down though.
