Surveillance Cameras Along Aurora Ave Up for City Council Vote
The city council will vote to approve the installation of surveillance cameras along Aurora Ave. These cameras will apparently help support a short-staffed SPD. A remote third-party will monitor and record activity, footage supposed to be held for only 30 days. We'll see what this does.

One thing that Aurora has going for it
The difference is that these cameras are installed and maintained by the city. Sure there are cameras on private businesses and lots, but that's private data which has to be subpoenaed. These cameras are directly being used to supplement a lack of enforcement officers so the city says. Perhaps they won't do anything and nothing will change out there, but I think it's at least worth knowing that these are going in so that we can all be aware. We have loitering laws about to go into place, so being aware of any additional changes which could supplement those laws is certainly worthwhile. The city is proclaiming that these cameras will assist in so-called human-trafficking investigations along Aurora Ave and they are at war on johns / buyers. I certainly do think that being aware of their presence is something we should know and that's all i'm doing here. Again, we'll see how this plays-out, but for now at least we're aware.
One thing that makes Aurora unique to any other blade on the west coast I feel is that Aurora itself is legitimately a semi-highway with MASSIVE traffic flow 24-7. Compare this to the smaller old Denny / Hostess strolls. I feel like its just too much traffic for SPD to ever reasonably enforce against johns and ever shut down AA blade. Unless Seattle becomes increasingly dystopian and implements some AI powered mass camera system to where only people that live off Aurora can drive through while all other's are auto ticketed or "tolled" by a camera. But again, so much traffic comes through Aurora daily that this would be unreasonable and likely a no-go LOL (this has actually already happened in Oakland off the international blade. They put a toll camera where people who don't have a registered address in the area get tolled by a camera if they drive through). If this were to happen in Seattle, my gut instinct is that they would do this off the residential portion of AA between 96th to 107th. But I feel at the moment, Seattle is too progressive to ever implement an "elitist" toll system (I guess that's the one silver lining to all SJW progressiveness in seattle. It at least some what aligns with our desire to monger LOL). I know in Los Angeles on Figueroa, just by looking at the google street view, I can see that in 2021, there were no cameras, but in April 2022 they put a bunch of 4 k camera systems off the 100's and 90's streets that area installed high up on the telephone polls. I actually cruised Fig in summer of 2022 after these camera systems were installed and the streets were CROWDED (summer 2022 was when street mongering went viral by all the youtube dashcam videos so I suppose that also contributed). So it appears those cameras didn't make much of a difference and are there for major crimes (like a shooting I suppose). Maybe us mongers need to establish some covert grassroots political group to advocate for legalized decriminalized sex work LOL.
Anyone up for tagteam a SW tonight?

RE: SW Movie "Sweetheart Deal"
I recognize the short blonde, Amyy, and the taller older gal Kristine from this trailer. I never picked-up Kristine but she was alllllways out there. You'll see a brief clip in the trailer when Amy is talking, they cut to photo of her senior picture on the wall. She was literally that beautiful when she started, I met her initially in Fremont when there used to be junkie motels there. Tiny little spinner around 20 years-old, but she was a serious princess at that time and men would fall all over her which made it hard to date her sometimes. She'd get an attitude. She called me one night and wanted to date, I told her that I was in for the night and she offered a good deal on rate so I met with her. Once we got down to it she said, "since i'm giving you a deal I feel like you should get yourself up instead of me doing a blow job". I got pissed because the deal was her idea and we argued pretty bitterly until I kicked her out. We were quite some way from where she needed to be so she had to walk. I met her again sometime around 2011 or 12, can't recall which. Then I didn't see her around for a few years and one night I was sitting near Jack in the Box and a scraped-up, run-down awful-looking little blonde spinner in very plain clothes approached me all excited, said, "HI! Remember me? Can we date?". I didn't know who she was, didn't look familiar at all and I couldn't place her name to her face. Then after a bit I suddenly realized it was the blonde little princess from a few years prior and man was I shocked, she was so run-down and street-worn that she was no longer attractive at all. Missing a tooth or two from what I recall, looked like she was wearing men's jeans which were massively over-sized for her. Very very worn face for her age. I turned her down but did see her out walking quite a bit after that until one night I saw her bent-over the back of a police car near 85th on the side of Aurora. On another pass she was sitting on the hood and crying hysterically while handcuffed. Never saw her out again after that. She was also working / rooming with another little white spinner named Jen when I first met her in Fremont, also 20, who also later became pretty regular around Aurora. Jen was also a little princess until her looks went horribly south. Last time I saw her alive she approached me and I didn't recognize her at all, she honestly looked like something out of a horror movie. I've always liked her so I gave her a ride and man she smelled awful. She died not long after that. They had a service for her at a place along Aurora Ave and I actually considered going, I actually liked Jen. I'm not sure if Kristine is still alive or not. I don't recognize the other women at all.
But if I'm not mistaken this film was shot over two different periods. One starting around 2011 or so and then again around 2017. The motel Klose Inn is still there which was a horribly awful junkie motel, storage unit is there now at 93rd. I've been wanting to see this film but want to wait until it streams somewhere.
