There are a number of better choices over the bridge in NJ. Again, you're better off asking the girl. Be careful. There are some others that I've heard about, but never used. Maybe some other monger with more knowledge on the subject can update us on locations nearby.

In the past I have used the Riviera Motel on rt 73 near the rt 130 intersection. It is attached to a strip club (forget the name). Not hourly, but the overnight charge is less then $50. About the 1/2 star but you get a room with TV and shower. Drive time is about the same as to the Carlisle.
