Please accept this as a public service announcement. We have all seen the Men's Clinic advertisements on TV. I am sure many are interested. I talked with a gentleman last night who was telling me about his experience. They require a contract and payment from $2500. He had already paid the money so I didn't tell him about my experience. My urologist does the same thing (only an office visit charge covered by insurance) and writes a RX that cost $100. What a rip off. Just shows what marketing will do for you.

I've had a lot of difficulty getting providers, even ones that I have a good past history with, contacting me back when I text or call them. Seems that within the past few months this has really been an increasing issue. It somewhat coincides with the whole BP thing, but I don't see the connection. To be fair I have had some lifestyle changes that have made my inquiries for services less frequent than in the past. I have a lady friend that I now see regularly and frankly I don't need providers as much as in past years. I also have a position that puts me on the road more and I sometimes am gone for periods of time. But it is striking me as odd when ladies that I have known for several years aren't even returning texts asking about availability.

Could just be me. Maybe they've all suddenly realized I'm a relatively unattractive old white guy. My cash is still good though, so I don't know.

I think they are owned or runned by a urology group in town but not 100% sure. Its all marketing. In my opinion, its a rip-off. A good urologist can do the same thing with testosterone for $50-$100 bucks per month. If you are interested, check out Dr. Rand McClain on youtube. I knew before I went about their expensive, high pressure sales pitch "maintenance" program. I just wanted to see if the injection worked. It does work, and is virtually painless. You can get it from any urologist much cheaper. When you turn them down they get pissed at you and show you the door real quick. They don't do the blood tests that they promise, they just came in and gave me the injection.

Just to add. I knew a girl who had her uterus and ovaries removed while in her twenties. She said her sex drive fell to zero because the ovaries produce a small amount of testosterone. She went to an endocrinologist for replacement. Injection, weekly I think. Anyway she said it turned her into a cat in heat, could not stop thinking about sex. I bet the gym rat girls on testosterone are the same way.

I looked into the testosterone thing. My levels were fine so the doc thought it would be a waste of money. Didn't do the Louisville men's clinic, but have a buddy who did, or at least until I sent him to my doc. He is on testosterone now, does the cream androgel. Says it definately improves his mood and sex drive.
