Other bits of intel I gathered this week. There was a Seattle PD undercover black pickup truck that had someone pulled over by 105th a few days ago next to ampm. The below is how SPD used to be prior to 2020. I remember in the mid-to-late 00's they were definitely more aggressive on both Aurora and the main weekend stroll down near Denny. Another time a cop saw me circle a few times and started tailing me, I knew something was up at that point. He finally pulled me over and asked why I was driving around circling the blocks. I put on a confused expression and asked him why he's stopping me to ask that question. He actually smiled and said, "I'm conducting a survey, I see solo men just driving in circles around this area, just circling the blocks for hours, I just want to know why". I kept my confused facade and said, "I guess I don't understand why you're stopping me to ask that question". He laughed and said, "okay, have a good night". I was almost stopped on Aurora around probably 2005 or so, back then SPD used to sit in the middle lane on AA and I slowed down to gawk at a girl walking late at night, the cruiser very slow started inching toward me if I made an attempt to stop for her but at the last minute I spotted him and hit the gas. I don't know if that would have yielded enough information for an arrest but back then they seemed more interested in stopping and questioning as a tactic of deterrence. I've had cops follow me very closely, turn for turn, until I decided that it was time to leave the area. When I passed the outer perimeter of the stroll they'd turn back. I'm going to assume that when the new laws go into effect that there will be more of this.

And to be clear, the SWs aren't immune from any of this, either. The new laws will allow police to arrest any SW standing-around and getting into cars or talking to johns at the window. Once police have that suspicion, they'll be able to stop and question. So they can be arrested, and I do wonder if this will cause a more cautious shift in SW behavior out there when trying to snag a date. Hopefully no more dumbass behavior such as walking in the street and expecting guys to just stop on Aurora to talk to them. That shits gotta go. However the city is clear that they'll offer a diversion program to SWs instead of prosecution. But I really do wonder if that's actually going to work, no way some SW who draws $500-$1000/day is going to reform through some diversion program and get a low-skilled job in retail or fast-food. I just don't see it. Then what, the city going to finally prosecute them when they get nailed out there a second time? This is the problem, the city is dumb when it comes to this shit. But hey, who am I, I guess we'll see how this goes.

I've asked for names and numbers in the recent past and almost all of them wanted to charge me for that information so I stopped asking. I don't know if she's local but I've seen her around on and off over the past few years. Saturday night got followed and harassed by Seattle PD on AA. Tailgating, spotlight from the back and to the face from the side. Literally followed me after chatting with a girl for a minute from Lowes all the way down to 85th until I turned towards I-5. No doubt ran my plate. Even followed me as I turned off AA to loop around. Left me alone and then posted a few blocks north and waited for me to circle around. I didn't go far enough on the backstreets to pass him and he got on my ass again so I had to hit I-5. Even ran into a dead end and had to make a full stop and left turn (some of you guys probably know the street I'm alluding to LOL). I stayed cool, followed the speed limit and used my signals but a more nervous person might f*ck up and make a mistake warranting a pullover which would be even more awkward.

If anyone gets followed and doesn't have a passenger, I suggest bailing the scene in a calm fashion the moment you get tailed. This has not happened to me once in the past 2 years.

I think the reports of the city council preparing to pass their new laws are going to go through.

Probably going to me more postings in the near future on the "sites", if you know what I mean.

Don't say a damn thing to any police officer while out on Aurora. Don't. Their job is to clear the scene, they don't care what you want to do with any hooker out there nor how you want to do it. They view the entire activity as a social menace and residents around there are tired of it. I think that since 2020 when the original laws were repealed that a LOT of newbies joined the street action thinking the way things were on AA right out in the open without any worries was actually normal. Now they're about to find out how irregular that was. Same for both men and women. I for one am hoping that the females go back to being much more cautious about how they approach and get in, stop walking in the middle of the street, etc. I'm hoping that the men will stop driving crazy and not stop right on Aurora to talk to a hooker. This should be a more clandestine activity, not one which holds-up traffic and makes hookers think that EVERY man stopping at a stop sign is there for them.

Back in the day, girls knew they only had so much time before some cop was going to tell them go home, so they made every contact count. You got much more reasonable price structure.

The new SOAP and prostitution loitering law has passed. It goes to the mayor's office to sign and takes affect 30 days after that signature. We are fucked. If you are arrested for loitering for the purposes of prostitution it's a gross misdemeanor and you will be banned from 85th to 145th including two blocks of either side. Such BS. They better start arresting the girls too under this new law! Letting them stroll around naked shaking there ass to get guys to pull over so the cops can bust them is fucked.
