So the Mug Shot or the Report has it wrong, take your pick?

In speedracer's defense, I don't think he ever suggested that he was getting "special treatment" because the girls got him off. Actually, what he was saying was quite the opposite or that that type of result was actually NOT that uncommon. And lets avoid getting personal and casting any value judgments on whether that is somehow pathetic or not. After all, the idea IS to get you very excited (and therefore spend more money) at the very least.
As to the whole pimp thing, well, that WAS over the top. I think he incorrectly ASSUMED that you were living off of her earnings providing sexual (or at least semi-sexual services). If you were that WOULD be essentially like pimping even if you weren't promoting her services yourself. More likely, or at least I'm hoping, you have your own source of income and either met her there and developed a relationship with her outside of work or met her elsewhere and that was just somewhere she works that you really don't have much say about (unless you're prepared to replace all that income).
Personally, I'm with the other guys. While I might not be too crazy to know that a bunch of drunk assholes were pawing my girlfriend all night, I'd probably count myself lucky enough just to have a girlfriend who was hot enough to work there and I wouldn't feel like I was really in any sort of position to judge what she got paid to do when I was paying other women for the right to do essentially the same thing. If I was ever such a hypocrite then I'd probably be nearly as contemptible as if I really was a pimp.

I don't think I could stand knowing that a bunch of guys were trying nearly every night to get something off of my girlfriend or wife. I know several ladies who are "dancers" two of them I count as good friends. There are a few things I know based on my limited experience with "dancers"
I would say that the great majority of the young ones (20's) are into drugs at various levels, some of them really bad. Most of these girls have boyfriends or husbands. Some have girlfriends, some have both. Some of the boyfriends are abusive, some of them are lazy and live off their girlfriends, some of them are secure enough to not let it bother them. Some of the boyfriends can't stand what their girlfriends do and either get away from them, or do something really stupid. To say the least a lot of these girls have issues. The older ladies that have been around the clubs for a long time usually have some issues with alcohol but certainly not all of them. There are some that dance to put themselves through school. There are some that just love dancing and peforming in front of men. There are some who like to meet men. Some are just plain nuts, and some of them are great people.
When you go to a club you have to remember that these girls are working. You are going to their place of work, and they expect to make money off of you. They might try to get you to buy drinks, pay for lap dances, do the champagne routine, or a VIP room, or other. It is a business.

Wow, I've never been able to negotiate that good of a price at the VIP at 7 seas. The best I can do lately is 3 for .6, which is okay with me, but I wish I knew your technique!! Also, it's good to hear Jersey is on stage again. I love to watch her play with that shaved kitty.
Good post. I had a live in GF that danced and loved the ladies. I met her while I was working at the same place. She stayed with me for a while as I had an apartment on the beach and she liked keeping her tan going. It was a blast while it lasted but they are all constantly moving from one circumstance to another. If you are lucky enough to get in the middle of a situation with a dancer, think of it as an amusment ride not a home investment. Very costly BTW but I did love it when she brought new dancers back to our place. It was like, party a little, sleep in, hit the beach, play a little, take a nap and back to work. I never minded the hickies and swollen lips :-)
