Sorry, BG, but I have to concur with some of the sentiments that others have expressed in reaction to your post.
Advice is a tricky thing. That seems particularly true when the advice is unsolicited, and even more so when that unsolicited advice is seemingly offered to individuals with more documented history (on this forum, at the very least) than the advisor. I assume your motivation was pure (if that's a word that's suitable for this forum), but I believe it was inevitable that your approach would not be met with resounding approbation.
Here's the way I look at it (note: no advice is forthcoming). This forum was here before I joined. It works just fine without me or my opinions on how it should run. I don't have to read every post, and I don't have to read every word of posts that interest me. I don't have to admire everyone else's writing style. For me, it's about reading what's written and treating each report as a single data point to be considered along with others in potential future decisions. That's all. Personally, I think it's going to work better if I can acknowledge especially helpful reports and make contributions of my own. That seems to be the nature of the forum. But nobody is obliged to follow any of my preferences, just as nothing obliges me to follow anyone else's preferences (with the obvious exception of A2's preferences). The extent to which I am helpful to fellow hobbyists will depend, I think, on my "cred" and my example (what I write, how I put it, etc.) rather than my unasked-for suggestions.
Just one guy's opinion. I hope you'll continue to be safe and to share, if that's your desire, but I also hope you'll consider moderating the advice. It has the potential to sound somewhat presumptuous under the circumstances.

Most of you guys don't have a clue what to look for. I've visited a couple girls before who had needle tracks up and down BOTH arms.
