Rhetorical question, I suppose, but over the last few ventures, I've encountered women in Kalihi and Pearl City who used to work at Butterfly and D`Amour, respectively. Kinda sad. Should have headed for Misty's. Think that's the only place with day time action on Sunday.

BTW, Sue was there on Superbowl Sunday. Prolly the only Sunday I've seen her. But don't get me wrong, I've only been going to that location for less than a year.

Boring night, so WTF? Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? I offered to buy her a drink. She got a glass of tea. (No real problem here.) Then she proceeded to drain it in two takes. In less time than it took me to type that sentence.

I was slackjawed. As the infomercials say,"But wait, there's more!" She then says she's going back to the gambling machine and would I wait for her? I was too dumbstruck to answer, but no matter as she toddled back to the machine.

I have been to one or two of these bars before, but I have never before witnessed such a performance. Fortunately, damage was minimal.

Maybe she's one of those that has a gambling problem? She thinks she can make more money at the machine rather than sitting with customers, in which must be few and far between. I saw Julie of Damour talk to a customer, get her shot, drink it, and has to imediately leave for some reason, LOL. Total time less than 5 minutes. The difference between HL and the many loverboys is that they don't mind.

The bars are slow already. There is no young guys drinking and spending anymore. What will the girls do when all the olds guys retire from old age living on social security. They are some rich high rollers out there but they are all 70 + years in age. I was seeing a girl working at MAYA'S it was fun but nothing free after 9 months I gave up.
