No one else was out and I ended up seeing her about a half hour later. I pulled up and asked if she planned to finish business and she told me to go away.

I made at least three mistakes for this to happen. It was a small loss and it's only my second one in a very long time, so I guess that's good. Opportunistic is right, and you know what? I kind of can't blame her.

The dark spot was simply a long the street where there wasn't a street light. Yes, I do think she knew what she was doing and I just played a long like a dummy. By opportunistic I mean that she saw an opportunity to play me, which I usually wouldn't have fallen for, and she got me.

I do try to be decent to these women and I seriously can't blame them too much when they pull shit like that, but it's playing with fire. It pissed me off when she said go away, even though I didn't expect her to do much else. I left, somebody won't. Dumb as hell of her.

In short, she needs to make a certain amount each day to float. She would rather panhandle than go with you, and usually makes more that way. If it's a lunch rush or she's just doing well standing there at that time, she won't go with you. Ask if you can come back in an hour and she'll probably say yes, but she will disappear if she makes her day in the meantime.
