It isn't specific to FIB, as it can happen in plenty of places. So, I don't know that staying away from FIB is the real answer. When dealing with SWs, you are taking some risks and are sometimes exposed to the thugs that are always hanging around them. Guys just have to be smart and keep their guard up in these areas rather than swearing off an area as a place to be totally avoided.

These are lower-end areas with addicts, dealers, pimps and SWs, all of whom want to make quick, easy money and could care less about you or me. Some areas can be a little worse than others but I believe you have to take care of yourself and keep your guard up regardless of the area or neighborhood. Bad shit can happen in any SW area.
