Yes, there is an inherent risk to seeing ANY provider, but these risks certainly are not all created equal.
Regardless of what Nikki told you in confidence, if the FBI really wanted information, they would get it. Don't think for a second that if the FBI threatened Nikki or any other provider with jail time, she wouldn't give up your contact information.

As long as there's no solicitation or discussion about what will happen at the meeting then it's just a visit. And the "gift" is just that. I think that strategy works with a provider you've seen before and both of you know why you're there. Calling a new provider and asking about services, even using abbreviations, is probably not that smart. I think LE goes after low hanging fruit as opposed to the more organized activity between adults.
