There ARE documented cases of catching VD or herpes through unprotected BJ. However it should be stated that in those cases there were probably visual signs that were ignored. As with anything biological there is always a chance. To catch HIV from a BJ you would literally need to have an open cut or abrasion on your dick and she would have to be practically bleeding in her mouth (like gums bleeding or something).
