Deez - hate to hear this. My experience over many years is that the casinos are more interested in running off the girls (at least at mid-market Harrahs' casino) and don't want to necessarily build a case against guest, especially ones that are pretty serious gamblers. I understand if you are outside but if they are busting guys in the casino that is pretty tough. I'll definitely see how it is going and be careful.

I just wanted your opinions about this. I have only had a single experience bringing a girl to the room in Vegas. The girl started talking to me at the bar at the hard rock. She was about a 9. Hope your night went well. For documentation purposes: 50 is fine as long as you don't look like a cop or a dirty old man. Or even if you do look like a dirty old man. Just sit at the circle bar and look interested and they will come to you. There's the bar and then there are tables around the perimeter. I tend to sit at one of the tables. Allows you to swoop in if a girl you like sits down at the bar. You have to be staying at the hard rock, otherwise prices go way up.

Should I stay away from Harrahs owned hotel? So far I've considered- NYNY, ti, luxor, IP, Bally's, paris, Harrahs, caesars palace. Is something with easy access to other casinos important? What place do you recommend for a lot of CG action.

My next question is an odd one. I think a friend is quite keen to come with me. There are no problems in regards to ******, as we have been to brothels together before. We may share a twin room in order to split the room cost, but I would prefer my privacy. Are there any twin shares where the beds are in separate rooms, that anyone knows of? I hope that doesn't sound too stupid

It sounds like you've got all the basics down :)

As far as casinos, you could probably tell that I am partial to the south strip casinos, especially now after my last trip to a Harrahs property.

If you want decent, with a lot of potential for CGs, the MGM is probably your best bet. The Luxor would also be decent since it is between the MB and Excal. However, it is a bit of a walk from the Luxor to the other 4-corner casinos.

Further North, the TI is a decent place. However you can expect to pay more for CGs than at the south strip casinos. The Harrahs properties on the other side of the strip from the TI\Mirage\Caesars, etc are decent and the CG prices are similar to the south strip, but finding them can be hit or miss - definitely not as many as at MGM, etc.

I don't know of any "twin share" type arrangements, but many of the casinos do have adjoining rooms that can be asked for (but each room has to be paid for so not really what you are looking for.)

For combination of niceness, access to other hotels, and likely acces to cg's, I would first look at Caesars. Of course its also most expensive. Theres usually ladies in there, but if not its an easy walk across a bridge to Bellagio, and even then if you strike out, its easy to walk to the other side of LV Bl and walk from Bills down to Harrahs and back, where theres almost always something.

Second choice wold be NYNY, and third Luxor. NYNY gives you access to the bridges on that corner and also MGM. Luxor is the same, but its a long walk from Luxor to the bridges even though it doesn't look that far.

I'd avoid Paris, Ballys, IP, and TI as there are few cg's in these casinos.

That really doesn't exists unless you want to pay more for a suite. Closest to that is The Hotel at Mandalay Bay and it still means one of you sleeping on a couch. And its pricey...nice, but pricey.

The Trop is a 1960's era hotel that's in the middle of a much needed and overdue major renovation. The hotel has been in limbo for many years, and has gone through many different owners each of whom has deferred needed maintenance and it shows.

Having said that, there is now major construction both inside and outside, and it's a pain even trying to get into the entrance. HOWEVER, some of the rooms have been renovated to a modern high standard with large LCD televisions and modern bathrooms, and the prices are low to fill the rooms.

SO........you can get a clean, modern room in an old hotel under major construction in a good location for a good price!!!!!

I've stayed at the Trop a couple of times. Overall it is decent if you are just looking for a place to crash at night. I have to admit though, the areas where the construction has been completed seem a lot nicer than it was, and definitely much brighter than before.

If you do stay at the Trop, just avoid the "Garden Rooms" which are not part of the towers, and are quite old and run down. I've seen the remodeled tower rooms, and they are not bad at all.

Depends on your budget. The classic cheap hooker vacation is at Excalibur. That place is bizarre but it's inexpensive (50 or less if you book online) and it's connected to Mandalay, Luxor, NYNY and MGM so it's easy to hunt throughout that circuit. None of the south strip properties are really upscale. Mandalay Bay was in its day. These days it seems to me that one is about the same as another.

You're coming a long way and you want this trip to be something special, so I agree with you that mid-strip is a worthy upgrade. However, mid-strip hotels vary considerably.

I would agree that Caesars' is off the hook if you can afford it.

I think Venetian is the nicest property in Vegas right now, and they are dying for business. They opened their new hotel right before the crash and can't keep it full. They have all kinds of incentives, including free tickets to Phantom. Tao is one of the hottest clubs in town, there are tons of good looking women around. The only problem is, not many (if any) of those women are working. If the TOP priority is to stay someplace nice, this is your place. If the TOP priority is getting laid, you would have an easier time of it elsewhere.

If the TOP priority is getting laid, and you want to stay mid-strip, Planet Hollywood is probably the best bet, much as I hate to say it. PH is tacky and overpriced for what you get. Great location though.

Now, if you want a balance -- a nice place with a good probability of sexual intercourse -- I think Bellagio is worth a look. They've been looking for customers lately -- I get about one email a week from them -- and if you get on their website you might could get a good deal on a multi-day trip. Try promo code BPERA4.

I've always felt Bellagio was something special. Wynn put a ton of money into this property and it shows. From the moment you walk in the front door and see the Fiori di Como, you will know. The lobby bar off to the right is great for people watching. Keep walking through the casino and at the back is probably the best poker room in Vegas, depending on how you look at these things. Usually some celebrities around.

If you still have any money, backtrack about halfway to the lobby and you will come to the Bacarrat bar. Sit here for a while. It's not as busy as it has been in the past, but there are usually some working girls here. The bartenders, most of whom have been there since the beginning, are fine gentlemen. Put 20 in the video poker and you can drink for free (provided you don't blow that 20). Give em a nice tip. They are too classy to bring a girl over to you but will not steer you wrong if you ask if a given girl is looking for company (if it's not already obvious). If for any reason you don't see what you want, Hollywood is right across the street. I haven't always gotten laid at this bar, but I have always had an extraordinary time.

Random advice:
1. As a general rule, you should do the opposite of what the cab driver suggests.
2. Don't try to steal the blinds. But, acting like you're stealing the blinds when you have a good hand-- that's money.
3. If you happen to hook up with a civilian, take her to Seamless.

You should make friends with people who know what the score is. To make friends with someone, you smile a lot, make pleasant conversation, and give them money. The following people tend to know what the score is:

1. Head valet.
2. Older male bartenders.
3. Prostitutes. (Never burn bridges! These girls are insane but are amazingly full of useful information)

But by far, the most useful friend to have is the head of VIP at the club.

To give an example, on my second trip to Vegas, we stayed at the Palms. This was back when Ghostbar was huge. We got there at like 10 am and there were still people in the club. I went up to the head of VIP and asked him, "Was there a big line here tonight?" "Yep." "Do your friends have to wait in line?" "Nope." "Would $100 make me your friend?" You better believe it did. For the rest of the week, every time we walked by Ghost, he was like, "you boys want to go in?" Boom! Right up the VIP elevator. (I LOVE this town). And on top of that, he remembered who we were the next summer. A well-placed tip goes a long, long way in this town.

But I can hardly believe that $100 made such a long lasting friendship with the VIP Host. Hell, last weekend they were charging people $100 just to get in to Excess, locals too. No, I am not exaggerating. Wait in line like everyone else and $100 to get in. Don't expect $100 to go to far or last too long. Your personality plays a big role in that too. Never had to wait in line for a club, I had all of those friends, and they get tips a lot bigger all the time. Size of your party obviously has to do with it too.

Start to finish, this is some of the best advice I've ever seen about staying and playing in Vegas.

I agree completely that if you are coming halfway across the planet to stay here, you want to go a little upscale. It's not as expensive as it used to be.

If your budget doesn't really like the Venetian, Bellagio, or Ceasars, consider the MGM Grand. The rooms are quite nice, often there are working girls in the bars and at the slots, and it's right in the center of the action.

And (Vegas fun fact) you can check in to your room at the airport, which means you can bypass the hotel check in line entirely.

My budget is probably for a midrange hotel, as in reality it is only a place for sleep (and sex). One thing that's hard to comprehend looking at maps is the actual size of the strip and how far it is from say, the MGM to the mid strip area where the harrahs casinos are. And if I stay southstrip will I be restricted to looking for CG's in that area? I'm not the kind of person to drop $$$$$ on a hooker. I prefer them more $$ to $$$.

What are my priorities for this trip? Somewhere where I'm not to far from the action, gambling shopping, food, that is not geared towards kids like circus circus, and where there are plenty of tail to be bought. So yes getting laid is a high priority! Is midstrip more happening than southstrip. I spose a lot of these question will be answered when I get there and the knowledge I gain will hold me in good stead for my second trip.

Cute CGs in Harrah's back by the escalators/elevators/coffee shop. Other girls walking right out in front north and south of Harrah's. Casino Royale (right next door) has cheap beer and attracts a younger crowd. I saw several CGs in there. I think they're attracted to the younger guys. The area in front of the Venetian is worth a stroll late at night.

The monorail is $5 each way or $10 a day, I think. No worries about a DUI. No bad cab drivers. Nice drunk people on the tram. If you're going from MGM to Harrah's it's the best way to go. I'd take a cab back to your casino if you find a nice CG in another casino. I don't think she'll want to take the monorail.

Between 200am to 500am Excaliber was empty of CG's.

But walk over to Luxor and it was heaven. Spoke to a few. None wanted to settle for less than $250. Lots of eye candy at Luxor: LAX club had just let out.

I was'nt in the mood to spend $250, plus I was tired. Tonight is another night.

For what you are looking for I think the MGM is your best bet. The location is great and provides easy access to all of the south strip casinos and not too bad of a walk to the mid strip casinos (for sightseeing purposes!). There is also a monorail station there to get you around the strip as well, but that can be inconvenient to get to the hotel\casinos across LVB since the monorail stations are at the back of the properties on the east side of the strip. No matter what, make sure you pack a pair of comfortable walking shoes since you will be doing a lot of that!

Don't forget to spend one evening downtown on Fremont street as well. It is worth it to see the older casinos, and the Fremont Street Experience. The ACE bus gets you downtown and back fairly quickly and I believe runs 24x7.

As many have mentioned as well, for your main priority MGM is always a safe bet. If you look around a bit, odds are you won't have a lonely night. Even if nothing is in the MGM it just a bridge away from both the Trop and NYNY.

To answer your question, generally a girl will go to another nearby casino with you, but getting one to go from mid-strip to south-strip may take a bit more $. It's doubtful if you stay at the MGM you'd have to walk more than one or two other nearby casinos to find a friend that you would be interested in.

OK, you're off to the races! There's plenty on the boards about finding women of ill repute, so I'll comment on some peripheral matters.

South strip tips and final random thoughts:

1. Best buffet: Mandalay bay. (I typically only eat once a day. You know the drill. Stay out until the sun comes up. Lie in bed with your ears ringing and your heart pounding and your breath stinking of cigarettes. Get up, wander downstairs, get drink at pool. Check out gorgeous women. Swing by buffet, eat like pig. Return to room, pass out. Wake up all disoriented as the sun goes down. Drink Red Bull. Get hard on thinking about night ahead. Category: Vegas Baby. Answer: glorious spread overlooking topless pool sparkling in desert sun. Question: What is the buffet at Mandalay Bay).
2. Best poker room: in that part of town is probably where you're staying. Pretty soft room, players are loose and don't pay attention. Don't try anything fancy, just play the numbers and value bet, and steer clear of the pros.
3. Clubs. Check out Tabu on the casino floor at the MGM. That was a great club years ago, they closed it for a while and then reopened it. It's more of a lounge than a club per se and therefore will likely have a more diverse crowd, helpful if you're older than say 19. A friend recently reported the lounge on the top floor of Thehotel (at Mandalay) was very good. Tuesday is industry night at Studio 54 -- the stripper industry, that is! (But don't waste too much time there if nothing is happening, Tuesday is by far the biggest night for Pure over at Caesars. Unbelievable. Check out the house DJ out on the balcony. Get there about midnight. You can bribe your way in, but even better, pick a few girls out of line and talk them into walking in with you.) Eyecandy at Mandalay looked intriguing last time I was there, this needs to be hit early in the evening, thins out late. I've been out of the loop too long to comment on where the hot weekend places are, except that Drai's is still kicking, and if you like house, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Arrive about 4am Friday or Saturday night. Watch out for the VIP girls. VIP girls? OK, in Vegas there are civilians, there are hookers, and then there are girls that are hard to classify. There are girls who tend to hang out in VIP for free drinks. Some ask for tips to hang out with you. They're kind of hooker-ish if you wave enough money at them but you could get laid five times for what they are asking. On the other hand, hookers do hang out in the clubs. They won't ask for tips, they typically get down to business pretty quickly. (Dancing with some hot blonde, she leans in close, whispers in your ear, "why don't we go up to your room?" Vegas is one big 13-year-old masturbation fantasy).
4. Don't bribe your way into any south strip club. Might be worth making some friends over at Tryst or Jet. I would think it to be extremely worthwhile to have a friend at Drai's, depending on your own particular vices. Very good. And speaking of Drai's, please give me the benefit of the doubt. You're going to be standing in that nasty, smelly casino ("Bill's") saying, "that guy Gator has sent us on a wild goose chase. There can't possibly be a lush gorgeous dance club spinning perhaps the best after-hours house set in the Western Hemisphere in THIS place." But there IS. Believe me this.
5. Getting around. It's kind of a hike to mid-strip and cabs are expensive. The monorail is a schlep. A bus called "the deuce" runs up and down the strip and IMHO is the best way to get around and sight-see during the day. I typically cab at night, when I'm clubbing and don't have time to waste. Don't rent a car. Best way to see the lights is on the pedestrian cross-walks between MGM and NYNY (awesome!) and between Bellagio and Bally's. Spend as little time as possible on the sidewalk.
7. Best way to gamble. It's called "drunk video poker." You put ten or twenty in the video poker machine at the bar. Order a free drink immediately. Cash out as soon as you win something. Go to next bar and repeat. Run the circuit from MGM to NYNY to Luxor (both bars, don't forget the one over by LAX) to Mandalay. That'll be good for a night. It's hilariously fun, doesn't usually cost much, and it will get you seriously laid.
8. Worst way to gamble. Please, for the love of all things holy, do NOT put any money on the big red 6.
9. Do at least one happy hour at Red Square (Mandalay).
10. If Robert is still working at Blush (the Wynn), give him my regards, and tell him I'm sorry I missed him at Burning Man last year, and wish him the best. (Blush. Hm. Wow. Blush isn't good on a budget, but if you're dying to drop a grand, this is a very excellent place to do it. Last fall was the last time I was there, God knows how it is now. You would not believe who I was dancing with. Seriously. Beyond that, the Wynn... well let me put it this way. When you arrive in Vegas, you're going to be walking into a movie. Excalibur
As soon as I got off the elevators, I saw a brunette WCG doing video poker. She was a good looking 8. She looked at me and smiled. But I was distracted as a Blonde 10 WCG walked by in sexy pink shorts and white tank top.

This 10 walked outside for a smoke. As soon as she stepped outside, a black guy sitting outside was on her. I hung around for 10 minutes, hoping she would get away from him: After all you can smoke indoors in Vegas. No such luck. oh well, the night was still young.

what a difference a night makes. Luxor was dead dead dead. Nothing happening at LAX nightclub. No party Pit. This explains the high prices I was getting the night before.

There were a few BCG's walking around. And there were a couple of HCG's at the bar. Nothing in my taste.

NYNY

Nothing at all here. And the walkway was empty as well.

MGM

There was eye candy to see at MGM. Also, the most # of good looking BCG's were at MGM bar. One of them approached me. Very smily, flirty. But not what I was looking for.

Walkway

A wonderful looking HCG walked by. Then a 9 Blonde WCG, high heels and all. I smiled and even cat called: Neither were interested in me.

Moral of the Story.

If all you are looking for is a CG, there is plenty to choose. If you are picky, it gets a bit more difficult. BTW, the BCG who approached me, did find a client. She was a young looking thing, so he made sure to check her ID.

Middle Strip

If you are out to impress the girl you are with, stay at the big names City Center,Bellagio, Ceasars, Venetian, PH, TI, Wynn, Aria. CG prices at the big names start at $$$.

On a budget, try Riviera, Harrahs, Ballys, circus circus. No CG action here, but that is incentive to go exploring.


Downtown

I normally avoid staying downtown. But there is lots of CG activity. If you prefer the SWs, the bad areas of town are close by. I would recommand driving as opposed to walking around. And be sure to watch your back.

South Strip

This is where I normally stay. Choose from NYNY, MGM, Tropicana, Luxor, Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. My vote goes to, Excalibur. Although customer service is very bad, the upgraded widescreen rooms, are not very impressive: The location is what counts.

With Excalibur you get easy access to 5 other casinos. For a mellow life, and decent class and affordable price give Monte Carlo a try. No CG action at the Monte, but the rooms are nice.

Not to nitpick here, but neither the Riv nor Circus Circus can be considered "Middle Strip" by any stretch of the imagination. They are on the slowly dying North Strip, where there really isn't much to see beyond Encore.

The only "budget" places on the Strip worth staying in are Harrahs (it's a totally boring basic hotel but the location is perfect), Ballys (kind of the same thing), and Excalibur (the same but the Ye Olde nonsense gets really old).

I prefer the mid-strip area because it is central to the action. I've stayed at MGM and MB and just don't like being at the end of the Strip. Anywhere near Bellagio, to me, is great as there are so many casinos of all flavors and prices. There always seem to be plenty of CG there and at CP and at PH and Flamingo as well. Or, they are walking in between and the plaza at Ballys which is a good place to see them on the stroll.

Stay in the middle of the action and you can enjoy it all!

If they're headed towards Mirage, Bellagio, Ceasars, they'll catch the tram and avoid the TI casino. Didn't find much action there and they have security at the ele. Stayed there once and didn't go back.

On the plus side, it's all legal. (You know that prostitution in Las Vegas is illegal, correct? It's highly unlikely you'll get caught, but just sayin'.) And you'll never catch an STD, because the girls are regularly tested and they do EVERYTHING covered. The bad news:

The initial prices you will be quoted (they may give you a printed menu) are insane. The haggling starts at that point. Prices go up on the weekends, when major conventions are in town, etc. Porn stars and unusually attractive girls cost more, sometimes much more.

Even the closest brothels to Vegas are an hour or more away. So if you don't find anything you like, there you are, in the middle of nowhere.

Most importantly, I've not found the girls at the ranches to be anything special. I've done the brothel scene a couple of times, and found it to be not worth it. For the prices I've paid (and seen quoted on other forums) you can hire a well-reviewed independent provider in Vegas.

This is just my opinion. You can read gushing reviews of brothel girls on some of the forums. And, you may want to go to the infamous Chicken Ranch, just to say you've been, while you are on this side of the globe.

But consider this: you'll be in Las Vegas, one of the greatest centers for working girls there is. You can shop in all price ranges without leaving town. Why bother with the brothels?

So there's no way to definitively say, but around $250.00 should do the trick. A lot depends on time (of day and week), how hungry the girl is and your ability to negotiate. Sheris next door is much nicer, with a great selection of girls, but is definitely the more expensive of the two.
