Tried one, went to another
Hello all. Newbie to this site, though a couple of my posts from other sites have been related here. I thought I'd send along a report from Monday. I first tried Gentle Care. Called ahead to see who was working but they wouldn't tell me. Asked who I knew so I used one of the names from the posts here to see if that would break the log jam a bit and said "Selena". The woman said she wasn't in today, and still wouldn't say who was and said I should just come by. I usually prefer to reserve a time with someone who's more of a known entity to avoid the "Victoria" scenario but I figured first time, OK, fair enough I'll give it a shot. I got there and was met by an overtly hostile middle aged Hispanic woman;"you want a half hour or what?". I backed out. It just didn't feel right. I opted instead to head down to Nicole's as Sara was available.
I don't know if this is the usual feeling and greeting at Gentle Care. Maybe others have first hand experience and can relate. Nicole's is always a friendly experience; the mamasan even remembers my name and gives me a big hug and Sara puts on a good show of remembering things we've talked about in the past. Same thing goes for Cherry Blossom; it's like getting together with friends. This is ALLLLLLL business and we drop quite a bit of cash and there's no reason why it can't be a pleasant arrangement.
