Sure, I missed those days myself but you still can't beat the value of these dances, especially at YS. Having traveled to many major cities in my past jobs, Tampa is still one of the few cities that allow the patrons to touch the dancers, especially at a reasonable price.

What Buckhorn needs to understand is that it's these strip clubs that many business traveler frequent after a hard days work. Yes, the beaches and weather are nice in the Tampa Bay area but what else is there for a tourist to do and that's where the strip clubs come in. You can't find that Tampa strip club experience anywhere else, so if Buckhorn really does crack down on the strip clubs, Tampa will lose a lot of tourist and business folks that would also be spending on other things before or after a visit to a strip club. Which doesn't make business sense.

I suspect they'll still come here on business and go to whatever clubs are there, regardless of the rules inside the club. Though they may spend less money in the clubs. Tourists, by definition, are visiting a place because of a specific amenity be it beaches, Busch Gardens, area sporting events (specifically Spring Training) or strip clubs. So you're correct in that sense, tourists who come to Tampa and budget a couple hundred (or a couple thousand) on strip clubs while they're here may opt for other places.

Stopped in at the pink pony. Only $7 cover to get in. Unfortunately as soon as I got in, the oldest, ugliest one in the joint approaches me and would not leave me alone. She was very very pushy and could not take a hint. I made the mistake of having a dance with her to just leave me alone but even after the dance she clung on. Was wanting to see the other danceRs as they were all young and very hot. Her dance was not bad as she tried to stroke me through my pants but I wasn't feelin it. I wasn't about to pay a dime more to find out if extras were available but it seemed like it for a price.

I'd definitely pay with any of the other girls but I'd be surprised if any of the others gave extras. Any input would be appreciated.

Worst part is waitress kept pushing me to buy her $5 drinks. At this time I just left.

For those who are looking for Layla from YS, she was working last night (Tuesday) after 11 pm. I still say Saturdays after 11 pm is your best bet to see her, but call the club to see if she is in on another night. She usually comes in at 11 pm.

Dancer quality was not on 2001 / mons level, but some of the guys in our group spent less than $60 a piece. One dancer that we paid for a dance was a problem. She came back 20 mins later and said we shorted her $30, when I know we tipped her $20 over the amount of songs we bought. I took care of it by telling her "here is a $10, take it and do not talk to anyone in our party." she took it and left the club and went home.

Even with that I would still go back again. We live way east, so Brandon / Ybor clubs are shorter ride, and I am too well known at Ybor to bring people I know along.

In that area for a bachelor party I would go with the good club, it secession alcohol so its not full nude but I know they cut deals for bachelor parties.

If I was in the Tampa area I would go with Scores, serves alcohol as well so non nude. But the girls are cute. Also players club ain't bad and the dollhouse is always an option although I havnt been there in years they always have top notch talent but I'm not sure its a bachelor party type spot! Just my 2 cent!

Also, I meant Gold Club not good club. I really should proofread so I don't sound so dumb. But again I only go there to drink and take in the eye candy. We've had a "heatwave" up there where it's been 90+ for about a week but at least the humidity drops off at night and temps drop into the high 60s!

Grabbed a beer at Green Iguana and got to say they can't pour a Guiness worth shit and Irish Whiskey was limited to Jameson, but atmosphere was good. Walked down to Scores where the dancers were smokin but I didn't get a dance. Met a guy that I hope is a member of this board. PM me if it was you and tell me about your Costa Rica trips. Anyways, went over to Odyssey 2001 because it had flashing neon lights and was full nude. Cover was $15 which was steep even for my NE budget, and no alcohol so bought a $4 bottle of water. At least gas is relatively cheap down here. Went in back with a gorgeous girl (forget her name) with glasses and had a good dance, but def think she'd be better in VIP. Actually not sure if dance was that great or if I was in awe at the fact that CT bars close at 12:45 during week (think some in Tampa were open til like 3am) and that it was full nude (we have 1 but its mostly 18 year olds smoking cigars in the one place in the state that you still can smoke indoors beside casinos). Anywho, I want to try Mons but the guy I met said 2001 has more skanks. And I was looking for trouble. The first two girls seemed like extras would be on the table in back, and I almost went with Sky, but I happened to see glasses out the corner of my eye and had to indulge the fetish. May check out Sunny Leone at Scores on Weds night before I head back to the real world in CT, but I'll prolly just spend the rest of the budget on discreetmeetsoftampabay.

Also would like to introduce myself to this forum as I will hopefully be moving here in September (I post in Waterbury, CT forum).

She was saying a few of the other dancers get some low-level modeling and promo work (other than for the club) so going by her and that, it makes sense that the dancer quality is fairly high but for high mileage that's not a place of choice.

I dropped by Alibi a few Saturdays ago on 7/10 around 7 pm. I wanted to visit Pink Pony, but there was one car in the parking lot. Then I went to Envy and there were two cars in the parking lot. I saw more cars parked in front of Alibi, so I decided to check it out.

The club is rather small and very dark. There is seating by the stage, by the bar, and a few tables off to the side. The bathroom is kind of beaten up. There were around 5 dancers working. The first dancer that came up to me was Sky, a petite black woman. She seemed to be going through the motions in introducting herself and the club. She said dances were 3 for $50 and you had to pay ahead of time for them. If you wanted more, you could pay $50 more. I passed on her. She didn't seem very interested in being there. During her stage set, she kept on walking off stage and back on because no one tipped her.

The best dancer there was Cameron. She seemed a little older than other dancers there, but she had the best personality out of them all. She offered me a few free dances because it was very slow. I passed ont he dances as I did not have enough money to spend. She gave me a preview dance. She seemed to grind pretty well.

I think Alibi is a hole in a wall, but it's not too bad. I'd go back to see Cameron though.

We went back for a dance, and the "private area" has no privacy at all. I got 2 for 30, good dances, but like I said, no privacy. The rest of the dancers there were skanks though. Couldn't even find a spot to sit on the stage seats. Sorry to say peeping Don was still there but wasnt bothered by him when I got a dance. Got a dance with some new girl named Nina and wasnt disappointed.

Visted Ybor Strip today, from 115 to 230 or so. The recap:
