Chiropractors frequently have a masseuse. Can someone recommend one that I might be "happy" going to.
Saw someone mention a place in Ypsi here, decided to try it out:

Had an awful time, I'll run through it.
Walked in, small house near W Michigan Ave. Was greeted by a lady in her early 40's I'd guess. Not a great body, but I've seen worse. She takes me back to the room, I pay the. 65 up front for the hour. I lay down while she's out, she comes back in and gets to work. About 10 minutes in, she gets a phone call. She apologizes, I tell her no big deal and she answers it. Sounds like another customer. She works out a time, then comes back to me and says something about how busy it's been today. I smile and respond politely, blah blah. Well about 5 minutes later, she taps me and says something that I can't understand. I give my fake smile (the one I put on when Idk what someone said for the life of me) and she says "okay turn over".
I'm a little confused, but whatever. She goes straight for the downstairs area, asking "how much you tip me today?" I look at the clock and note that it's been just shy of 20 minutes. I say "I paid for the full hour right? And she goes "oh yes yes". So I ask her about her if she'll do anything with her mouth. She shakes her head, so I tell her. 4 for the standard HE. She goes "no no, . 6". I tell her no way am I giving her. 6 for a standard HE. She tries for. 5, I don't budge. She finally gives in and starts. After I finish, she pats me in the chest and walks out, then comes back in and asks "okay? Everything good?
I'm absolutely shocked. I point at the clock and tell her that it hasn't even been 30 minutes. She goes "I know, I know, I sorry. Is so busy!" I tell her that isn't my problem. I honestly should have known better when she flipped me so soon. She's sitting there, lightly brushing my chest with her hands at this point and I'm fed up. I go "fine, you know what? That's fine. " I get up, put my clothes on, and she's just standing there staring at me. I knew what she was waiting for. I make a move to go and she catches my arm. She goes "uhh tip?" I look at her and explain to her that there's no way in hell that I'm paying for more than an hour massage when it didn't even last 30 minutes. She goes on to explain how busy it is like it matters to me, and how she only makes tip money and the rest goes to the owner. I tell her that this is horrible service and that she can take any extra money after the cost of a normal 30 minute session and keep that from the. 65. She insists it isn't enough and begins pleading with me, saying that next time if I ask for her, I can get a free half hour, blahblahblah. There was no way in hell I was coming back. I told her "look, I'll pay full price (I'm not coming back) next time, and you can keep whatever I gave you so far". Finally walked out after that.
Absolutely unbelievable. Seriously, steer clear of this place fellas.
You go George Jedston- nice to hear from someone who has a pair and stands up to idiots that have no valid business model. I don't put up with this shit either. Massage parlor, escorts, whoever. $$ talks. If I don't like the product, I take it back or get my $$ back. You learn the hard way real quick.

It's been rough trying to find some new places that are worth a damn, and I think we should stand together against shitty business models so that this type of event is a very rare occurance. Until then, I'm always down to report here when I can and keep everyone else informed.
Hope to see some good new places pop up in the future, I'm always trying to find someone I can consistently rely on like Lola, but with a little more excitement.
Anyone been here? Message me.

Seriously, steer clear of this place fellas.
Jedston, you absolutely did the right thing. . . But you weren't really surprised, right? Between the calls and all the talk about being busy, you must have had an inkling that you weren't going to get your full 60 minutes. Or even 50 minutes. When I'm in that situation, when it's clear that I'm going to be seriously shortchanged on time (and when I was actually looking forward to the massage part of the experience as well as the HJ), I let the lady know that I'm not going to leave the room until my full hour is up, and so she'd better tell any scheduled customers that the appointments are running late.
These ladies. Heck, most women in general, provider or not! - figure that once a guy has gotten off, he's going to be totally satisfied and not difficult to manipulate at all. It's why wives give husbands blowies an hour before they spring some bad news on them, right? So once you paid the house fee of 65, that was in the lockbox (unless she's an owner of the business) and the woman who was massaging you wasn't going to see any of that back. It's too bad about the tip. There was 105 on the line for the business, and let's be honest only a portion of the 40 was actually going to go to the masseuse. Probably a small percentage, the way these places operate.
Thinking about it now after I just wrote that, I actually might have given her a 20 tip after all. Unless she's the owner, she's probably told never to refuse any appointments, and so she's trying to balance keeping her boss happy and keeping you as a customer happy. Did she perform a decent HJ? I mean, if it was rushed and mechanical and basically a jackhammer pump-job, then I would have definitely been unwilling to leave a tip. But you know how sometimes at a restaurant you don't always want to stiff the waitress when the cooks did a bad job with your order? If the gal offered up a good enough HJ, yeah, I would have left her 20 and like you I would have told her the reason why.
These places. . . That's why I dislike making an appointment for a full hour. Half the time it means I'm going to wind up shortchanged on time and then I'm going to leave the place stressed out instead of relieved of stress.
Just my 2 cents.
Adobe.

Adobe.
Honestly, looking back? Yeah I shouldn't have been as surprised as I was. I was just pretty tired and had been looking forward to a good massage. The end result was being caught offguard unfortunately.
But while I agree that it isn't always the fault of the actual masseuse, I also don't believe in paying more money towards a shoddy business model. I don't like being taken advantage of, and if the owner told them it was okay to push someone out the door like she did, then that's unfortunate for her. If I were a waiter at a restaurant and the chef kept messing up my orders and causing me to not be tipped well, and the owner kept saying that it was fine and there was nothing wrong with what the chef was doing, then I would leave that restaurant. I guess that's just the difference in those scenarios.
At any rate, had she seemed actually apologetic and sincere, yeah I probably would have left a 20. But she was very mechanical and not gentle. She was doing her best to get me out asap, and her constant clock watching was annoying me to no end.
But I do appreciate the 2 cents. And I'll honestly probably go for 30 minutes first next time, just so I can feel the place out.

No hint of extras, no teasing, she removed the towel drape when I was face down, but the vibe tells me that once they know you things might change. Place was new and very clean. Masseuse was late 30's, in scrubs. I'm definitely going back.
I've heard about Anna, so I'm pretty sure more can be had. I appreciate that they want to go slow and stay utr as long as possible. Great location in a strip mall.

Wanted 90 for half hour with handshake. Her handshake was more than a jackhammer, more like a piledriver. Had to tell her to go easier. She took this as time's up and didn't try it again but go easier.
Chiropractors frequently have a masseuse. Can someone recommend one that I might be "happy" going to.
Why such a specific quest of massage at Chiropractor's office? I doubt that the therapist working at a Chiropractor's office will provide any extras. Best best is to find an independent massage therapist who works alone in an office or home, but you may still need to see her a few times to develop some relationship / comfort level. For me, if the massage itself is terrible the first time, I usually don't go back.
