Well, I'm guessing it's probably safer to go the escort route. I was never really a good street trawler. I hate to drive around, and I hate risking getting pulled over and questioned. I know, I know, it's less expensive out on the streets. However, the escorts of Cincinnati have been very good to me and the quality just can't be beat (generally speaking).

Looks like the county jail tax levy failed. It will be interesting to see how that effects the LE presence down in OTR, especially with some guy on the news talking about funds for extra sherriff patrols running out by the end of the month. Things in OTR have been dead on dead. Simon has been working hard these past couple months to keep the current county lock up full to the brim any way possible as a way of justifying why the new tax should be passed. With this result, I wonder if they'll start getting a little more selective/realistic about who they're putting away - save space for the real criminals!

Maybe Leis' puritanical (and hypocritical) campaign has had the air let out of it. But when will we learn to use the jails for persons who actually pose a REAL threat to our safety? And maybe even actually using jail sentences for "correction" and rehabilitation rather than graduate schools for high level violent crime...

Drugs and sex CAN present a problem, but we should have learned that prohibition only makes them profitable to the underworld. And prostitution, an element of civilization since ancient times, should hardly be a reason to compound the problem of our incarceration obsession. In both cases, what makes sense in an enlightened society is legalization; and focused care on the health problems associated with the underlying problems: unprotected sex and drug overuse.

OK, off my soap box. Yes--I expect that Leis' Taliban will execute fewer hassles in OTR. As Dweezil says, back to previously scheduled mongering updates!!!

(I will add that OTR has been bare the last several times I have passed thru.)

I had a chance to run through OTR a couple times this morning. Both (~9am & ~11:30am) were pretty quiet. A couple WSW down on McM and Main looking pretty tired on the early run. One is a regular I haven't met and the other was someone I haven't seen before. A couple BSWs walking around Findlay/Race with their handlers during the second run. None worth the time to stop.

Interesting experience - on the early pass through I got behind a Cincy LE car for couple blocks. Good looking blonde wearing a white lightweight parka and sunglasses in the front seat having a friendly chat. She seemed obviously comfortable and it looked "low stress" when I finally passed them and had a chance to look over at her. On the later pass, I'm sure I saw the same blonde sitting on the steps at Elm and Henry. Same parka, same glasses, same blonde hair up in a bun. Didn't see any LE around but my "better safe than sorry" alarm was going off - especially since she was one of the better looking step sitters that I've seen down there for a while.

Not sure what it means but the appropriate reminder is that if it looks too good to be true, it's probably not for real.

This past saturday, Nov 10th, I was driving down Reading Rd. and saw a blonde in a sheriff's cruiser. She was talking up a storm by the looks of it and both her and LE were looking friendly. They continued down Reading toward downtown while I turned onto Liberty St. OTR has been dead for the most part and like Dweezil said in his post only a couple of SWs here and there.

Now that Simon Leis has arrested everyone he could in OTR, all the SWs and dealers and general people walking around with open containers and drug paraphernalia, it's possible there could be stings set up to catch "johns" as his next goal. Here's why.

Most of all the regular SWs we all seen are in jail and will not be getting out any time soon. Some are in jail till April 2008 according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. I've been watching who's in and when they will get out.

Now tonight on channel 12 there is a story about the "High Tech Hooker" that the sheriff's dept. are now focusing on. See this link:

Like other cities on this site has posted stories about stings using the Craigslist and catching "john".

Simon isn't going to stop yet in arresting as many people as he can to prove his point.

By the way, most of all the arrest this past year has been people driving without a drivers license. After that it's people carrying drugs and or drug paraphernalia. I'm sure you've seen all the LE stop people on the streets in OTR and do a search on them for what ever reason LE can get away with in searching people.

I believe the next target is mongers and the CL girls.

Changing the topic a little, THANKS to all that voted DOWN the jail tax (issue 27), and with that I present a pic for the celebration. See Simon's pic below.

Saw a new girl and decide to take a hit for the team. I won't say where I met her except in PMs with people with posts that proves they're legit mongers.

Found this girl and decided to try her out even though her prices were a little high for FS. She charges .25 for BJ and .50 for FS.

She wasn't as great as "Beauty" if you remember "beauty" from early this summer. But this girl had a nice disposition. Got to the driveup atm and then she boosted it to 300. Obviously I agreed and gave it to her. I turned around and high tailed it out of there, and saw her walking into the cash store. Like I said, the phone call may or may not have been real. But it was real enough for me. I think I found a way to finagle the money around. My wife does the banking with the check book and all- but lesson learned. I am done.

In Sharonville, West Chester and Mason LE arresting the Girls who advertise in CL. I'll be checking the jail site to see who has been arrested.

With all the illegal aliens in the county, LE wants to stop guys hooking up for some service. I really don't get it about the politics in this town.

There's an interesting coversation going on over on the Indy board about a CL ad. According to the reverse directory, the number in the ad was a suburban LE station. Worth reading as you think about tactics that might start to show up in our liberal little town.

Also, had a friend who took a drive through NKY yesterday afternoon. He told me it looked a lot busier than usual. He didn't recognize anybody but wondered if it's the result of folks moving south of the river to find a little piece and quite.

And - WTF happened to the Whitey One Bites at 12th and Madison. There one day, gone the next? The parking lot was a great place to hang in the summer and see who would stoll up to the car. My friend said he had some fond memories of the place. To bad I'll never get that chance now.

I called an ad on CL last weekend and heard police radios in the back ground noise. I posted this on CL and it was flagged almost within 10 minutes. It was at the Drury in witht the Black escort advertising 80 for a BJ.

No surprize I guess - the Drury was one of the hotels highlighted on the Channel 12 report as a "haven" for "this kind of activity". We're probably in for a little cold spell (and I don't mean just the weather) but I figure hookin' is the world's oldest profession for a reason. It's outlived the Dark Ages, Reconstruction, the Plague, the Crusades and probably the Spanish Inquisition (Nobody expects the Spanish Inqusition!!!). I susepct it will outlive this.

Instead of actually addressing violent street crime, LE hassles SWs, and brothers dealing on the corner. Not that (drug) prohibition has not led to violent wars of territory, but the roots of the problems are being totally ignored. Legalization and control of drugs would pull the rug out from under the massive profits available to those who deal. And make help more readily available to SWs strung out.

Frankly, I have greater sense of threat when I see lots of LE than from brothers and sisters on the street. LE is more deceptive, lying, intimidating and potentially violent than the street brothers or sisters. And at least the street people are not PRETENDING to be someone else.

I am SURE you are not asking whether mongering might be more or less favorable with fewer LE on the street.. I mean... DUH.

Are we less safe? Do you know and follow the rules of the street? Do you adhere to the rules of mongering? (I have posted them many times.)

Do NOT take newbie chances. Keep your big head in charge (good luck). Be aware of your surroundings. When I meet a brother on the street, we know where each of us stands and maintain a healthy skepticism. LE not so...

Do not offer yourself as a target for robbery, (and give me a break) shooting? Give it up if you are looking down the barrel. (How DID you get into that situation?) The $50 in your wallet is not worth it.

The cost to the tax payers in Cincy could be cut in half if the Hamilton County Sheriff's dept. and Cincinnati police would stop all the fraudulent arrests the LE does. Arresting hundreds of people with minor charges over and over to push the stats up to justify the millions on the passing the tax bill.

People in Cincy were wise to the political scam and voted NO.

Giani is right about the fact that LE spends a lot of time chasing small time dealers and SW instead of more serious crime. But going after call girls on CL and the SWs on the streets is easier than going after illegal immigrants and white collar crime and the violent street gangs killing people.

OTR is about 1 square mile of the northern section of downtown Cincy and Simon Leis wants 7.7 millions more than what he has to continue having 19 cops to patrol the area?

That and build a new jail. Money and Politics at it worst. There are hundreds of small towns in Ohio alone that don't have 19 cops on the force and don't have a budget amount of money that ol' Simon has or wants.

Simon's budget for 2007 was 95.6 millions with 1073 employees. And he wanted more $$. Just a business.

Other news:

LE are at the motels chasing the call girls and or their johns with stings setup for guys to call and for the girls to met undercover in the motel rooms.

You can read some of the posts that warns what ads on Craigslist to watch out because LE has been spotted at certain motels. LE is also flagging the warning post. If you check out the CL list in erotic services, there is a guy advertising a site he's setting up with reviews of the girls and the LE warnings. It's brand new so check it out.

I can't post pictures of girls arrested here in Cincinnati because "jackson" will pull them out. However, at other cities on this site other members are posting pictures and names of girls in their city on the board. Go figure because I don't. There has been about 5 arrested this past 2 weeks.

Other news in the state of Ohio:

The strip clubs in Cleveland are challenging the law banning touching and the no nudity after midnight laws. The clubs are going to U.S. district Judge Solomon Oliver Jr. with the challenge that the law is vague and is an unconstitutional violation of free speech and expression.

I hope they can win. If not then the cincinnati based "Citizens for community Values" will be going into your private bedroom next and telling you what you can and can't do in bed. ....... Scary !

National News:

In Orlando FL. there is a rag newspaper much like the Cincinnati CityBeat that has Ads for hookers, massage girls and escorts in the paper. Just like "CityBeat" except the LE arrested 3 of the newspaper Ad sales reps for selling Ads to prostitutes in the "Orlando Weekly".

The LE down there went undercover and walked in the sales dept and said they were prostitutes themselves and wanted to buy Ads in the "Orlando Weekly" Adult Services section. The 3 people were busted because they were making a profit off the prostitutes by knowingly selling to prostitutes!!!!

LE will go to any length to bust people over anything these days. I'm wondering if a drug store clerk sells condoms and other such items to a known prostitutes if they'll be arrested for promoting prostitution sex??

Anyway the "Orlando Weekly" has pulled it Ads for Adult Services. It's no longer a free county like it use to be anymore guys.

It is very good that the Voter were not SCAMMED by the Fear and Smear tactic of the the Powers that B. But it AIN'T OVER!

This all started some 12 years ago, when a lot of Downtown Corporations found that it was of great convenience to have there Young up and coming Star living closer to the corporate office. Well at the time, very few and little Housing was available for the Stars and family. It at the time was in the making. It had been on the Books of the Year 2000 Plan for Cincy since 1984. I saw it then while at UC, on a trip to City Hall. It basically cleared out all the Projects from WE/OTR and other housing, and used Gov, Grants and Loans to do it. The Promise of New Affordable Housing was a the Trick Bag.

REMOVING all the Crime from OTR first was the objective, and removing the people from WE was the next. Once this was enacted, it would open the way for reconstruction and having NEW Condos and Housing for the Corp. Stars and Families.

This was all started before Year 2000, but a few thing got side tracked and it did not go just as planned. Gov. Money did not come as planned, and moving the people took a lot longer than planned.

They had to give the appearance that thing were going as planned and a lot of minor drug arrest and other arrest show progress.

Major bust were happening too, but to Drug Dealler the LE already new about and were just waiting for the right NEWs time to bust them.

The Riots were a big Monkey Wrench in the plans, but things still moved onwards. The War has pulled a whole lot of Money from the deal, but Corporate still wants things build. Now the Top of this whole deal is the Banks Project and competing with NKy. People will not come from the Burbs to Downtown (Arnoff, Music Hall, Playhouse, etc. , ) if they think Downtown is unsafe. So they need all the small arrest to get folks off the street or massed into certain areas of easier control. Knowing the BANKS is about to start, Corporate Money will be released to be used especially from Western Southern, and they P & G, Kroger, Duke, CinBell, many Big Legal Firms, and others want to turn Downtown Cincy back into an AfterWork Playground, and Weekend place to go. Very liitle CRIME can be there if this is to happen.

SO TO DO THIS. It is Full Speed ahead and "CHARGE"! Uncle Simon will keep the Jails Full and over crowed, and the State money to house inmates will keep his people and politics working.

A lot is going on under the radar. Many people got kicked out of there housing when their Leases were reviewed, and they had anyone with a criminal record living or use to live with them. OUT TO THE BURBS WITH YA! Move out the people and you move out the crime, and the Corp Stars moving in can fill SAFE.

Please understand this is all written in a quick nut shell. It would get too boring, like it ain't already if I wrote everything.

As for going after CL and CityBeat girls advertising, that is what Uncle Simon is all about. He went after Maplethorp, Larry Flyntt, Too Live Crew, and other Rapper Groups, Sex Shop, Book Stores, Movie Theater, then why NOT the CL and CB. That is how Uncle Simon keeps his job. Go after easy Stat 's.
