My experiences at Starz have always been hit or miss. I've had much better luck getting consistently good dances at KH8 but I like the ladies better at Starz looks-wise.

The main difference between STARZ and KH8 is that at STARZ you have to ASK for extras. At KH8 a lot of girls there will just whip it out for you. I live in another state but am down in the LA area on average of once a year. Starz is my club of choice but I have never been to KH8 so cannot really compare. I sort of have a love/hate relationship with Starz. I was there in the evening on 6/26 and in the daytime on 6/27. When I come there during the evening, I usually march my rear end straight upstairs even though most of the action is downstairs. The reason is I hit updstairs in the evening is it seems there are a lot of regulars there hanging out with the girls. I am not a regular so it would be hard to fit in. So I head straight upstairs but I never sit at the rail watching the girls dance. I always sit one row back. I was told by a couple of girls on previous trips that if I sit at the rail watching up close the dancers, the other girls will not ask you for a private dance. Apparently they do not want to steal you away from the dancer on stage. Not sure if that is true or not, but I do not sit up front. The bad thing about sitting upstairs is there are not a lot of people up there, girls I mean so you do not get to see the entire lineup if you were downstairs. I usually catch the girls as the come off stage and thank the guys for dances and grab one for a private dance.

When I come in the daytime, no girls are dancing upstairs so it is pointless to go upstairs unless it is for a private dance. There are typically not a lot of guys to compete with downstairs. Daytime can be a lot of fun as you can typically talk with the girls a bit.

One thing about Starz is some of the girls can be a bit distant and may never approach you. I have experienced this in the day time and the night time. What I have found is if you find one that you like and she is not busy, just go and approach her and see if she will sit with you. If you wait around, she may keep sitting on her rear or she may get snatched up by someone else. My luck is usually when I find one the visually appeals to me, she turns out to be a dud.

I guess it really comes down to what is one trying to get out of coming to a club like Starz or any club for that matter. Is one trying to get FS? IS another trying to get a BJ or HJ? I must last night after I got out of work I payed a little visit to the infamous kh8 and I must say. Its not to bad took me a while to get used to the atmosphere but thats probably because I haven't been to a strip club since I left the service but any way it was goo I only stayed till about 1 am. It seems like this question comes up about once a month. There are always guys in Starz and KHVIII that look like white tourists, there is usually an Asian guy in Starz that looks like an Asian tourist. So, in the clubs themselves, no problem.

As for the neighborhood. I am a big black guy native to the area. The neighborhoods around both Starz and KHVIII are relatively safe during the day. I'd feel "OK" about walking a block around them at night, but not much more than that.
