Do mandates work? I dunno. You tell me. Since 1975 when MANDATORY seatbelt laws took effect in the US, it's been estimated that there have been about 375 K fewer motor vehicle accident fatalities. Since the polio vaccine was REQUIRED for all school children starting in the 60's, the number of cases of paralytic polio dropped from over 16 k per year to absolutely zero. Since public smoking BANS started to take effect in the early 90's, it's estimated that cigarette use among men has dropped by 45% (somewhat less for women) leading to much lower rates of lung cancer which as a result has meant 2. 3 million fewer cancer deaths (other factors contributed but reduced smoking accounted for the largest share of that). It's estimated motorcycle helmet laws save nearly 2000 lives per year where they have been implemented and could save another 750 more if they were implemented throughout the US. So I think the answer to my question is pretty clear.
Meanwhile 650 k Americans have died from covid-19 so far in little more than a year and that was mostly from BEFORE the much more transmissible and deadly delta variant reared its ugly head or half the US population got their shots (which though not 100% effective, provides 20 x the protection vs. Going without). So you tell me how many more people would have died if none of us wore masks or had any lockdown. How many more would be continuing to die if they hadn't voluntarily gotten their shots. And how many more will die in the months and years ahead if we don't mandate the (now fully FDA approved) vaccine for everyone (including idiots who don't care if they get covid or spread it to someone else).
Hate to break it to you champ but you can still catch covid and still spread it even with the "jab".
Oh and "A little more than a year". BULLSH*T. It's been 1 year and 7 months since the first case was reported in the US.
LOL at you comparing this to "smoking and seatbelt laws".
LOL at "FDA Approved". It was shoved through the approval process due to political reasons. Every single other real vaccine took yesrs to get approved.
Besides. Only one of these "covid vaccines" got that BS stamp. The other two haven't.
Maybe I AM confused but if I am it's because your own statements are inconsistent and shifting.
Fair enough. My critique is only indirectly of masks, but directly of mask mandates. Now that that's clear.
But now you want to talk about mandates, then let's talk about mandates. You can start by rereading the last paragraph of my last post where I basically said outright that "mandates" by themselves aren't enough if we don't have people who comply with them and/or leaders and other social influencers who consistently encourage compliance (which unfortunately we don't have in this country on one side).
So the world is not masking hard enough? There are countries with strict mask rules and high mask compliance as well as shitloads of COVID. Why? If it was just about masking harder, you'd expect there to be at least a few places where the masks shine through in the data, but there aren't. It's never consistent. Australia looked like a shining beacon for the maskateers and lockdowners until recently. Now all hell has broken loose despite measures that would make Stalin proud. Again, why?
It's most likely because there's a difference between the ideal conditions of the lab or even a hospital study and the messy outside world.
But even if mask mandates were effective, I'd be against them, at least with a disease like COVID. We could make cars much, much safer than they are now, but the cost would be prohibitive. As a result, some people die. But also as a result, more people are able to afford cars. This tells us that human lives do not have infinite value. We're willing to let some people die in order to have affordable cars. This isn't callous. It's the reality of the world. We make thousands of such trade-offs. I feel the same way about masks. You may not. Maybe you'd be willing to mask up for the rest of your life. I'd rather die. Seeing human faces, participating in human activities, these things have enormous value. COVID is a real disease and it should be taken seriously. But it's not the Black Plague, especially if you're vaccinated.
There's something about all this that reminds me of the Marxists when confronted with the failure of their system. Since it never occurs to them that their economic policies might not work -- they're "scientific" after all -- they look around for wreckers and saboteurs. "Mask mandates must work! The science says so! Who isn't masking hard enough?
Do mandates work? I dunno. You tell me. Since 1975 when…
Apples and oranges. Mandates must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
I agree 100%. Most of these higher quality women can easily average over 500 a day and they are in it for the money. I haven't discovered a provider yet who is under 30? Anyone notice any women looking scared, malnourished, or abused? What a crock this all is. I did see that Lulu got picked up and is with uncle. Bummer.
80% disagree. I really don't know the truth behind it all, but I do highly feel they can't just walk away if they want and they have their hands tied for whatever reason. Most of these women can easily make over 1000 a day and less work if they were independent. They sleep there because they're not allowed out. Reasons for maximizing work is bullshit. They don't open till 11 am. How hard is it to get up, get ready and drive to get there by 11? Yes, they travel and go places, but probably not without an escort going with them. It's pretty clear that a lot of their freedom is controlled. I know this message will trigger most of you that think everything going on is 100% legit. I really don't know but I'm just being realistic. Just because you don't see them abused doesn't mean they're free.

It is all about the $$$ and it is absolutely not trafficking. Far more likely to see "trafficking" with people on the streets or out of apartments / hotels.

(I've never admitted this before and don't much like saying so, but now is the time.).
They are NOT slaves, they are NOT stuck there, absolutely NONE of that is true. They live in the spas because they are itinerant workers. They move around from spa to spa, even state to state, looking for the biggest buck for their bang. Why would you rent an apartment in Tampa if you're going to be in Miami in three months?
Everyone thinks the owners drive this business. That's just idiotic. The workers totally drive this business. They expect the owners to provide in-spa accommodation at a low cost. If the owners don't provide this, the workers won't even consider it. If the spa is too slow, many workers just leave. We've had girls stay for one day. Workers are hard to find right now. We begged her to stay but she wouldn't. Slave my ass.
The owners make no money directly from the girls' tips. The owners make their money from the door and charging a small daily fee for accommodations. The owners would prefer that the girls only give massages as long as traffic at the door is still high, but they know that "extras" are what bring the men through the door and make the girls happy (because of the tips).
For from being coerced sex slaves, most of these women make excellent money. Their usual plan is to come to America, make a pile of cash, put their kids through American college, and then go home and retire. About half of the middle-aged ones I know are paying for the college education of at least one kid. Tragically, I know some who have been busted and as a result their kid had to withdraw from school. Fuck vice cops. They are scum.
These women aren't drug addicts like most American sex workers. They make great sacrifices to improve the lot of their children and families, usually in the hope that their daughters won't have to follow them into this business and will lead a better life.
The cops and the "human trafficking" (LOL) people are either ignorant or liars. At this point, they must realize that what I've said above is true. Even a half-assed examination of the facts and a little comment sense make it obvious.

I have had friendships with quite a few AMP workers, taken them out to dinner, taken them shopping and even had "overnights" at my home. They are quite honest outside the shop and are contributing to their families and their kid's educations. They fir the most part are free to come and go as they choose, especially after "business hours". Just my two cents worth.
Very good point. Ok, my conscience is now cleared.
A friend of mine owed a couple of shops in another town. Girls ran the place and would even leave to go to Costco to buy water for the shop. No being held against their will there for sure.
I came here for some reports and here I am reading about the damn pandemic N95 masks etc. (no I didn't read everything). What the hell happened in the last 4 pages?
Not a report, just an observation. WTF is with the asking if I can stop at McDonald's on my way to an appointment? In the past few weeks, I've had two different providers ask if I could make a stop on my way to see them. Fuck, both ordered like they were at the fucking drive thru window too. Yea, let me get your order so you can shovel that shit in before you eat my dick. Love walking out with fry grease and salt dripping off my balz.
And both were the first time I would meet them. One I ghosted and then told her after she twisted a bit. Told her I'm not your errand boy and she should never ask any monger for stupid shit like that. The second I said, sure, no problem but it will cost the same as our appt. She didn't like that and said to skip it and just come and see her. When I didn't show she texted where am I? Of course I said, I'm stuck in drive thru waiting on your fucking order. She finally figured out I wasn't coming after four of five of those responses.
Hate to treat a provider like that but seriously, any provider reading this should learn from this story.
