I for one, appreciate BoatGuy1 and his reviews and cautions. I believe he's earned a good reputation. Having someone demean his posts as rumors is just plain wrong. If you don't believe him. Just ignore him. But let the rest of us make our own decisions. BoatGuy isn't a white knight and he shares reviews from all sorts of providers and spas. So his only agenda is to share his experiences.

We need more reviews like BoatGuy provides.

I'll include that there's an obvious childish school boy attempt to challenge members posts by BlackFire and DjBiker.

When is the last time either of them posted an experience with a provider?

All of their posts lately are challenges and arguments.

I challenge all members reading this post to search their past posts and see for themselves.

1. It causes some posters to either not post or post less. If you read the exchange between BoatGuy1 and Backfire you will see where that is the outcome with regard to LE warning posts. Likewise other posters who have been given shit because they post reviews without exact tip given for services aren't posting reviews anymore.

2. Human nature. While you may be right. It doesn't feel like a win to report and ignore. Human nature for a testosterone abled man (even those of us who qualify for senior coffee at McDonald's) is to respond with a jab. Or a right cross. Most of us here enjoy watching the exchange or participating. If it's between two contributing members it can be informative. Later interactions between the two members can be helpful and less confrontational (I had a recent exchange with Robov that I feel went they way and I think he's a good contributor now). But when one member seldom if ever leaves a review or helpful suggestion. That's when it moves from amusing to annoying. And we have two examples here. And when they post. Not everyone knows they have no merit nor credibility.

I also know that BoatGuy1 won't post the prices he paid for new providers. But a simple PM to him will give you all the info you need. But why do some here hound him because he doesn't post his cost? And if I see a post from Benz I know it will likely be a positive one for Serenity, Hayley, Breezii and others. Do I think he's too focused on those providers? All I have to do is start reading back on his thousands of posts to see he's reviewed more than 100 providers.

Even report it to moderator and let admin make the decision if he felt it was improper? So many other ways to handle that question but he chose to fight about it, what about that question made him so defensive? Why does Boatguy get so defensive when someone asks him about price. Or services of the ladies he relentlessly promotes? That doesn't make someone a troll just because legitimate questions are asked of the promoters or anyone else. If he does not remove the post, maybe your being too sensitive and you should just move on and as he says, ignore it. Just because a person asks a question or points out additional information does not make them a "troll". I think as an example, using the Benz post on this thread, why couldn't there have been a simple reply to the comment / question that yes, she was formerly a streetwalker recruited to Serinity, or No, you are mistaken. Information to the board either way, end of story and no need to cry on the pugil thread that someone is trolling you because they commented or questioned something you had said. Or asked about how much the cost was at a parlor. Or the services offered. That doesn't equate to trolling, even if it seems the questions are asked of the same guys. As Gene pointed out, the older members here know what's up and who promoters are and such, but the newer members maybe don't and so asking the questions may help them. It seems like there is an effort to limit the amount of information that is available by calling people that provide information or ask questions contrary to what a promoter would like to be the story "trolls". There's room for everyone here, as admin said unless you are worried that your business is being exposed just use the ignore button if you don't like a poster. No harm, no foul.

My first post on the subject cautioned against rumors because a rumor is gossip, and my second post on the subject tried to clarify why I thought Boatguy's self-described rumor could be bogus I simply tried to PROVIDE THE INFORMATION that I was aware that there is bad blood between the two groups of women and the RUMOR THAT boatguy mentioned in his first post could or could not be valid and possibly could have been started by someone else since boatguy said it was a RUMOR in his first post on the subject. While DJ does seem to spend an inordinate amount of time pointing out when Benz is trying to pull a fast one, I find his information to at least be spot on and useful. What specifically didn't you want to know about the current dust-up, I think it's decent and useful information to know that Bella was recently a SW who got involved with Benz and wound up at Serenity. Doesn't mean I wouldn't see her but at least it's good and truthful information to the board. What's wrong with that?
