Massage Parlor Reports

She says the boss is not sure if they are closed permanently or not. They had some safety concerns a couple of months ago and were planning on closing it earlier. She was not happy about having it open with the safety issues. Add LEO issues on that and they closed up for the time being. She says she will let me know if / when it opens. I will NOT be waiting anxiously by the phone for the notification!

I'm heading up to bg to play some golf and was looking for some clarification on comfort spa or hobbytown. Are both "safe" to visit and what should I expect in terms of services offered vs rendered. Any pm or information would be greatly appreciated.

I figure it was probably a lunch break or something of that nature.

I stopped by Saturday evening and they were closed. Does anyone know if that is permanent?

I stopped by today (Monday) after work and the lights were still off and the door was locked. Must be bigger than a lunch break.

Only actual parlor arrest I can find. I have never been here so cannot comment on services.

In a separate situation, Bowling Green Police assisted federal agents during an investigation into multiple massage parlors. Officers executed a search warrant at JM Spa on Scottsville Road and arrested Xuehua Wu who was charged with prostitution and practicing massage therapy without a license. That investigation is ongoing.

The people stepping up for the spot light are Attorney General Daniel C and Governor Andy B. Locally, there is not a whole lot of focus on the "illicit massage parlor" arrest.

Here is a little more insight on the process:

"Kentucky State Police said they went undercover, either to pose as customers and arrange "dates" with trafficking victims or to pose as trafficking victims in order to draw out customers. Victims later were provided with food, medical care and other necessary services, Cameron said.

Detective Rugina Lunce, who runs the state police task force on human trafficking, gave a few details about the operations.

The Northern Kentucky team uncovered 17 victims, including the two juveniles, Lunce said. The Bowling Green team served a search warrant on "an illicit massage parlor," she said. The McCracken County team focused on Internet crimes against children.

Court records show that many of the arrests resulted from a sting operation run by the Boone County Sheriff's Department at the Comfort Suites hotel near the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport. ".

I got a notice from a bud who had stopped by Luckys last Friday. The girls were closing up the shop around lunch time. They said they would be closed for a long time. The bright side is doesn't seem like they were raided, but left on their own terms.
