2. give wife / family some extra money and tell them to go shopping you want to chill at the pool or go for a walk 3. Get up early in the morning, say your going for a walk (if she's awake or leave a note) its ok if you don't normally walk, your just seeing some of the sights 4. Pick a place that you know no one in the familly will want to go to (this also depends on you knowing something about the fake destination so that you can talk smartly about it). All that being said these only work if you've done your homework before hand and can go directly to the "site" and not loose time on the hunt. Normally I would say don't take a risk of hobbying on a holiday, with the familly in an unknown territority and that you should just relax and enjoy yourself. HOWEVER its Rio!
