But about a week ago I got a text from jasmine on Roosevelt. Scooped her up and had her ride me for. 25 in a nice quiet area nearby. We chatted for about 20 min. Learned a lot about her and that area that day.

As I glance over my should I see a Girl I have seen before by the hotel right next to the McDonald's. So I loop around and try to get her attention. This Black guy comes up on my car and opens my door before I could even think and gets in. Mistake 1: My doors weren't locked. He's like what are you looking for. Which girl. I am feeling very unconfortable and ask him to get out, but he says I can get you that girl up there you were looking at. I'm like just get out of my car. So dude gets out. About 3 seconds later I realized he had just snaked my Iphone 6 Plus. I get out immediately and go up to him and ask about phone. He plays dumb. He makes a special of going to look for it. Then he trys to sneak picking my phone up from the grass where he tossed it. He dropped the pretense then and asked for 150 for to get the phone back. I only had 50 on me as it was. Mistake 2: I told him how much I had on me and showed it. He then ripped it out of my hands and tried to jump in a car. I held the door from closing and he turned around punched me square in the left temple / eye. Then took off.
At this point I'm down 50, standing there all shaky with blood going down the side of my face. I didn't know what to do. So I went into the bathroom and got myself cleaned up. And I was in the lobby of the hotel and had no idea what to do next. My whole life is on that Cell. Mistake 3: Not using a hobby phone. Luckily it was locked, and part of the icloud system. I had the IMEID, the serial number and the find my iphone turned on. So I grabbed my laptop and grabbed onto the Wifi and Told my Iphone to emit a loud burst when it got turned on again.
I was still in shock when an Officer came into the hotel for another reason. I decided to talk to her. The long and short of it I said I was doing something at McDonalds and he jumped in. Turns out they pulled the footage from the video and saw everything. She asked me if I wanted to ammend the statement and why I was actually there. I had to thread the needle as they say, just enough truth, but not everything. She knew what was up and said I was definitely the victim here. So I went ahead and filed the report. I am still up in the air about whether it was wise or not to do so, but I felt like this ass needed to spend some quality time in jail over hitting me, not to mention the phone.
So as the cops are doing there thing, I was approached by another guy in the lobby. Says he can get my phone back for 100. I'm torn on what to do, but decide to say yes, as I really didn't want to go spend 700+ on a new Iphone. I said yes, and about 30 minutes later the phone is back in my hands.
So my trip to get some quick cheep, turned into a nightmare with a cut on my temple, possible black eye, and cost my about 150 total. The cops know who the guy is and caught the whole thing on video, so battery charge on him if they pick him up. And he is known for doing this very thing. Guys street name is swerve or curve something like that. So beware.
And the cutie that caught my eye? Yea, she was out walking as I was leaving. Salt to the wound.

The better news is that you reinforced the rules of Mongering to yourself in the process. If you're that shaken up by it, by all means, hang it up. It may or may not have been noticed that some mongers refer to nonpros as "civilians". Shit cracks me up but I'm now using the term because it's real shit. If you are mongering and hanging out in mongering areas you are NOT a civilian. You're in the game. Mongering areas are normally shit holes and You need think and act like it.
If that SW had come down and hopped in the car. (remember the 7 second rule?) she could have made off with the damn phone too and would be in the same boat. If you're in a mongering area and might pick up an SW you have to be prepared because she needs to hop in the damn car quickly. (7 second rule again) That means have the cash you want to spend ready, the wallet and cell hidden, and weapons (if you carry) stowed and at the ready.
