It is very sad to see these KBs go as I have a lot of fond memories of those places. However, the area has been changing for the worse. There is an increasing presence of vagrants and miscreants in the vicinity, and it can be dangerous at times. Be safe, brothers.

Walking tonight behind SNS notice a couple brothers I seen previously sitting on the side walk plus walking to splash on Walmart side had another brother cruising on the side. I had beer goggles on but yeah must be aware of your surrounding.

I talk to couple Mama and they know the new KBG's don't know how to cater to the customers. In fact they themselves call them Princesses. I kind of feel for the Mama they know what to do but the new ones don't want to learn how to be successful. Yujin always looks.

After all of these luxury condo / hotel is built. You won't see these brothers hanging around cause they probably have their own security patrolling the area.
I have seen some town KBGs working in Kalihi already.
Town side pretty dead on Monday night. Kalihi not much better. Even once busy 904 was pretty much slow.

I don't think we'll see another 4 am club in the area. There will be too much push back from the residents / neighborhood board at the liquor commission hearing.
Splash and Lobster King are on two different parcels, and I think Jun may have the master lease, not the fee simple interest.

Reading several recent posts on this subject one gets the impression that by July or so the entire area except Camelot and Splash will be history. Bear in mind that there are several different unrelated projects in the works each with its own time table and in the Honolulu development game every thing takes longer than initially projected. There have been several detailed articles in the press over the last 6-8 months with fairly good information; some of these have appeared in this forum. My point is I'm sure this transformation will not occur as soon as everyone seems to think. Definitely do not pay any attention to information from the BG's. And lastly the lease management company for the project that will take the place of the Kenrock Bldg. (Twilight, Sandy's etc) is offering 3 year lease extensions to existing tenants. That is to say; nothing gonna happen at Kenrock for at least 3 years.

Leslie's place although they jack the drink prices up after 2 and recently learned that the Pure gentle mans club is functioning as a hostess bar on Fridays and Saturdays till 4 am. Heard there might be some local girls there but haven't been yet. Anyone been lately?
Rumor is that a host bar is in the works. I guess the civilian yeoja and pro KBGs need a place to bust-a-move, too. Don't know what the qualifications are, but there were two host bars in the past. One on Waialae Avenue (80's) and the other at the now Leslie's Place (90's). These guys had all the sex gadgets for the ladies; one in particular was a French tickler or cock ring made from the lower eyelids and eyelashes of goats. I was cracking up until I got a drink and request to sit on a table with yeojas because they thought I was working there; I felt violated (LOL).
Apparently, KBs disappearing (due to the redevelopment) will be quick or quicker than previously anticipated, but the prudent attitude is wait and see; gotta settle the lawsuits first.

She ain't that smart but richer (greedier) than us guys. Btw, Kalihi getting a little boost due to some EG, S&S, and Talent refugees migrating to the area (small kine). In the meantime, Sheridan Row seems to be intact for now but investor movements jockeying for da rail project final (if get) layout seems stalled. Who knows what they like do and who going get the axe next?

Stumbled across a new K bar near Femme nu the other day. It's right behind that Jazz Minds place and a couple doors down from Lap Lounge. Nicely decorated and very clean place. Saw a few decent looking Korean girls in there. Didn't have time to stay long but they were friendly. Not sure how long it's been open but haven't heard anyone mention it before. Will go back and check it out when I have more time someday.

Been seeing quite a few younger KBGs in the Kalihi bars, presumably migrating over from town. Usual mean age was 52, now I'd estimate 44 (with a smaller standard deviation). Bars seem to be busier too. Apparently Kapiolani / Keeaumoku KBs are being forced out by July and Kalihi bars should see an uptick in business. Hopefully the competition among bars will improve customer service, if not, another nail in the KB coffin. Got my hammer out.

The place is so run down I walked out of that place after a drink. The booths are all busted up. The condition of the booths are worst than some of the Hotel Street bars. There was only 3 girls there. Are they ready to change owner or what? Place was dead.
Thru the KBG wireless, Talent last day will be the end of this month. Decided to close because business was too slow.

When bars were booming, someone else would take over and a bar would get fixed-up. Was great when a "nice mama" was coming, because many of the best girls in town would follow her there. Don't know what Camelot would do in this day.

Who is the mama there now? I know business is slow all around in town. But letting her place so run down to a point is unaccussble. One of the booths is so busted up I am afraid to sit on it. One suggestion to the mama there is to pick up some of the used booths from the closing bars for replacement.
Yes, Camelot in the hey days when Patty mama was running it was a nice place to hang out. It seem all of the good looking girls have gone somewhere. The place is as dead as Summit is now.

She is a well known drinks pusher. Heard she got into a physical fight with a co-worker at Back to Vegas. She has picked up at least 15 lbs and is moody at times.
