Her profile has been taken down from the main page but the direct link still works. Either she reconsidered her come back date or there's some internal rumblings in the kgirl world. You're rocking the boat big time if you introduce such a large donation increase. While we may bicker, criticize, or support price increases, at the end of the day price segmentation of kgirls and other groups in the sex work industry is well delineated. There's definitely overlap and outliers but you don't expect to be paying kgirl prices for SWs or AMPs prices for published porn stars, etc.
Now, Shannon can set any price she wants as its her choice but whether she'll have a sustained and reliable following is another matter. I have no doubt that there will be people paying $500 to see her, whether they were former clients, new clients, or just don't care or know better. Personally, I did a double take at the price and will not be seeing her. I did see her at $280 and $300 and while it was good, it's not $500 good. If she had reemerged in another space that was more commensurate to the price, say PD, and shed her kgirl past and focused more as an Asian courtesan I think she would have been better received. IMO, I believe she is just capitalizing on the current lack of quality kgirl inventory before travel restrictions ease.
She has the right to charge whatever she wants, and clients have the right to pay it. However, I think advertising that rate openly on a mainstream agency's site is problematic because it is exorbitantly above the market norm. If she's to use the booker's services, the price should be communicated upon inquiry, not on the site. Even more appropriately, she should go independent and advertise on PDs, Eros, and HX, and build her own site.
