Don't know the best time to catch her. I went there a number of times and never saw her, but this last trip, just by chance, she introduced herself to me. If you are not a regular there, try sitting at a table by your lonesome. That's what I did.

Had a break from work -- probably the only one this week. Stopped in at Colorful. Maya was out on the sidewalk checking the tonsils of a fella who looked over-qualified for AARP. Looks good from behind, but that face. Gah.

Inside, it was packed. Don't dig crowds so much so I wandered off to have a quiet drink. If you were in there tonight, it looked like you were having a good time.

Club Chance was dead. No pulse. Flatline. I think a contributing factor is the lease comes up at the end of the month. Just as well. Current management has no clue. Looks like the owner (Lisa) is going to run it again, at least for a while. Off and on talk of fixing up the place, but she is a notorious cheapskate, so I think the stinky, raggedy-azz carpet is here to stay.

Other places in Pearl Kai were even deader, if that's a word.

I should have gone to check out Olivia's. I think that KBG who goes by the bar name "Jay" is still there. Got her to flash a covered crotch once. Trying to get more, I a level of resistance that killed my fight. Didn't push for more and cut my losses that time. Seeing as business is slow, I figure to see if that might have changed her attitude any.

I think I may take a hiatus from the bar scene as it seems to be a waste of time as of late.
