I've gone from zero D-area clubs in 6 years to 3 in the past month. Latest was Bogarts. I had low expectations given the tutorial but figured it was worth a shot. It wasn't awful, definitely a few steps below FC and BT, but not completely disgusting. The VIP was pretty bad with used Jimmy Hats on the floor. Popped in around lunch last week and it felt like a neighborhood bar. Crammed with regular guys, not white collar office jerks. Question #1. Do they offer an AARP discount? But I may have just stumbled on a solution last evening. I recently started swimming for exercise and went to the pol yesterday with that unfortunate odor lingering. I found the chlorine really helped. Not much help if you're not a swimmer, I realize.

There are various ways to combat it, but here is what works for me. You have to physically clean your nostrils. I have used the following:
1) Scented Wet Ones. Roll it up and ream each nostril while spinning as you push in and pull out.
2) Bar soap on a rag, or with your little finger.
3) Beer. Seriously. If you don't choke or puke, beer in the nostrils.
4) Nasal spray. Afrin, Flonase, Nasonex, etc.
5) Swimming pool water! LOL, that is a new one, but should work.
I know it seems kinda gross, but it's better to do these things than to tolerate unwanted snatch smells.

It's like somebody setting out a meal that looks great but smells rotten. I'm not looking for ways to mask the odor. I just don't want anything to do with it. You just hear about it here because (a) guys want to tell each other who to avoid, or (be) it makes for funny, if unpleasant, stories, or (see) well, you get the point. I'll admit I haven't traveled the Detroit circuit far and wide, but in my modest experience, I don't run across it very often. Even at Bogart's, which itself has a distinct odor (three parts stale smoke, one part peeler perfume, two parts just plain "old").
I'd recommend the trip, especially if you're already so close.
Had a visit to Bogarts this week. Arrived on the early side and was totally unimpressed with the talent level. New girls started rolling in and I decided to hang in there for awhile to see what would develop. Things started to heat up around 1000 PM. Hustler Club is right off of I75.

But, in my limited experience, if you're firm in not going to VIP until you know exactly what's going to happen, they'll eventually either walk away or give you a full menu breakdown. I presume that the ones who walk away just want to get you in the back and perform a slow roll cash extraction from your wallet with the lowest level of service possible. I always establish a flat fee before heading to VIP regardless of the level of service that's agreed upon.

So I was in the 8 mile neighborhood and decided to stop in Tycoons for a burger and drink around 3pm yesterday. The talent was 6/10, nothing to special to be honest with you. I was in the area, and based on this and other forums, decided to give Bogart's a try since I'd heard excellent things. To my surprise the parking lot was packed at 12:30 in the afternoon: turns out it was the day of the Christmas party. This was good and bad.
