If a hobbyist were to carefully review all the reports in this "Korean Bar Reports" thread, the "KB and VB Rip Off Artists" thread, and the "Vietnamese Bars" thread, that would probably constitute a good introduction to the Honolulu hostess bar scene.

But I like the chase, I like scoring in different ways, in different places, with different girls and kinds of girls. For some reason her phone was off for the past couple of weeks or so and I could not get in touch with her. Now I can surprise her there as for I haven't seen her for at least 4 months now. Btw, Ivy is bartending at Eve's on Mondays and Tuesdays and working the floor on the other days if you are interested.

Well, I don't know if there is really an etiquette for Kbars but you should have a strategy.

The game is usually like this - she wants you to buy her lots of drinks and you want to play touchy-feely with parts of her body.

Lots of guys like the chase but if you just want to get laid, it will usually be cheaper to go to an AMP.

For a newbie to the scene, I would suggest sitting at the bar for a drink or two to see whats going on and who looks hot.

I would choose someone who's a little laid back and not making a trip up to the bar every 5 minutes.

If you wind up sitting with a greedy one, cut your losses and move to another bar or be prepared to go home with blue balls and an empty wallet.

Bring only what you want to spend or the little head will likely prevail.

Are there any bars that have filipino girls? I checked out Chateau, didn't see much, maybe was too early, but I did go to watch football anyway.

However, you forgot to mention to NEVER bring 'plastic' to the bars. Those Ho's will eat you alive when they even get the slightest hint that you'll be busting out the plastic, once your paper is gone.

Sorry for any confusion. I was the one who used the term "hostess bar" in a reply to your prior message. The reason I used "hostess bar" rather than "kbar" or "Kbar" (Korean bar) is that Vietnamese women work at some of the bars. So "hostess bar" is a broader term that can include bars with women who aren't Korean.

Parking is right outside the club, top level up the Atkinson ramp, head Ewa towards Ho'okipa Terrace. There is at least 30 girls working here. I must say that got some eye candy! My neck got sore! LOL. My boy Jay came out of hidding and is waitering again. He's the man! Zack still running the floor and the Karaoke. The place was packed and noisy. Everyone was talking about staying up for the UH game. To me, got some talent here and definetly can get some "action". Checked out Napa Valley this past weekend a little after 2am. My buddy and I stayed til around 3:30am expecting some hotties to flow in from the other bars.
Being Labor Day weekend, I was expecting the bars (especially Napa Valley) to be busier than they usually are, and more eye candy. Much to my disappointment, there were only a couple cute girls and the rest were ajumas. I guess I should stick with Evergreen if I'm out past 2am.

Haven't gone out for a while but decided to hit the KB's this weekend because I wanted to check out the "new" bars (Cheers, Tee Time, Eve's) be it new or renew mama's. Boy, was really slow all over. Cheer's was the busiest. I guess everyone has to go see the new place. Recycled girls. Kapiolani was really slow. Slowest I've seen in years. Nothing new to report. I kinda see the end of the KB's come soon. I guess the economy has hit hard on the wallets. Maybe UH football will revive some places. Camelot seems to have the hottest chicks (looks-wise) but also expensive if you want to play.

Long weekends are typically slow bar nights.

A while back I was in a big booth at Evergreen with four other guys and Frances sat with us. We got her trashed. Between us, we bought her 10 drinks and said had to be real shots.

We finally bring up private room and she grabs one of my friends by the hand and takes him to the back. About 20-30 minutes later, we see her running out the door.

My friend said she puked in the room and then got up and left. Lol. We got out of there right away too (didn't want to get tagged for clean up bill).

Anyway, he said he paid her $2.5 and got some groping and light kissing, but clothes stayed on the whole time.

Frances is cool with decent face but no bod whatsoever. Plus, she's got some problems.

Called herself Ann and said she was Laotian. I stayed for 3 drinks (real sake) mostly out of curiosity. Never had a Laotian before and thought might be interesting to score a SE Asian other than Vietnamese. Left when it was obvious no additional action forthcoming. But posting in case any of you are interested in that too. But won't repeat. In fact, won't even return to Pearl Kai at that hour again.
On Kapiolani at New Casino. Also dead. Little Jeannie served me. She was bored so she rubbed jr until it was sticking up straight. But she's not a champagne room girl so I just enjoyed the attention. She's pretty cheap-doesn't really push, and plays good waitress. Saw the daytime bartender, Sonya, take some tall dude into the room. Cheers Station before dark was also dead. Guys at the bar but no one in the booths. Didn't see more than 2 hostesses. The bartenders looked promising tho. I was there at 5:00 about 3 weeks ago and there were quite a few girls there, but not this week.
I guess the general rule is still the hotties appear after dark at most bars. After 4 bars, I was horny, so went amp hunting.

Sonya's only a tease. She'll promise things and then make excuses. Everyone at night kinda knows her rep, that's why she's daytime bartending. She won't do anything because if her boyfriend found out, he would kill her. Ever notice she's usually off on Friday's and Saturday's nights. Had a run in with the guy a year ago and he looks ordinary but best to stay away. Your best bet is Tammy. She put out from the 1st drink.

Thanks for the report on Sonya. I was wondering about her. First met her around a month ago, and always wanted to go back to 'test' her out. Now I know better. You have to admit though, she is a hottie.
