Can you provide any more detail on how you found and selected these few professionals compared to the bulk of the rest of your encounters? I'd have to say that with the selection method that I use and have already described, nearly every one of the ladies that I've met came across as professional -- definitely some more than others. Since they are going through the work to build a professional looking website and market themselves through multiple channels on the web, they are definitely thinking of this as a business of providing a service, and not just a way to get by.

Since the debate about prices has risen again, I think most people focusing only on the price are not looking at the full picture. There are some people for whom seeing an escort is just a matter of getting their rocks off. They either have no need or want of a connection. The proverbial GFE. They want to get their dick sucked, and then they want to get off and that's it. These are the people who will more often than not say that 'no pussy is worth X'. The X varies for everyone. It will always depend on what you want and how much you are willing to pay for it. This is not a rant, but I am posting here since it is not reviewing a specific escort. Not trying to be confrontational, legitimately want thoughts from the forum. I have copied and pasted an excerpt from the ad which is at the bottom, for reference.

My initial thoughts all point to "he should not have done that. " Whatever lies / drama / disrespect / demons were encountered, they were obvious before the deed was done. He even mentioned that he asked her to leave and that is what finally ended her hesitation.

Have her leave for real. Negotiate a lower rate before paying & fucking. Or, go through with the deal, write a bad review, and never see her again. Once he fucked her even if he felt the rate was too high for the service rendered, rescinding payment on the basis of fraud seems wrong to me. It's unfair to her. It potentially puts her in danger, if a pimp or dealer takes it out on her. It only encourages providers to scam us before they get scammed by us.

My post history is consistent, I am all about identifying and avoiding providers who are unsafe, scamming, or aren't worth it. I'm not seeing this method as the way to do it (especially when there were obvious indications that the encounter would not live up to expectations).

Am I missing something or over reacting? I want to know the thoughts of other mongers.

One provider told me that if she gets a stable of regulars, she only posts when she needs to and since she used a texting app only accepted messages from numbers she had saved. There's another provider who largely sees older guy and in the past few years she's barely raised her price. She even wrote on twitter IIRC that in response to having some guys tell her to charge more she flatly said no. She made it clear that she doesn't see tons of guys and she realizes that many of them are older and travel 1+ hours to see her. So unless her personal circumstances change, she's not raising the price.

The best advice is to is be like you and have a limit. Sure your ATF might price herself out of your range but at least you don't go broke.

Ultimately IME for this hobby price doesn't equal value and you don't know the value until you hand the money over which is why above a certain amount you need to really treat it like a business transaction. So you reporting that might in the future trigger something you want no parts of. It's been a while since I signed up but at a certain point I had to go through some account verification steps to connect cash app to my bank account. That means they know who I really am so it's not a huge leap to think that if you reports someone for fraud, cash app might have a responsibility to disclose your real identity to that person.

Not something I would have done. If you agree on a service and the service is finally performed then the agreement was fulfilled. The annoyance of all the waiting and other discussions are just things that lead to an experience you wouldn't repeat and report to other mongers to avoid.

The only way I've found to get better / lower rates is to get to know the provider, especially if you plan on seeing that one repeatedly. Expect to pay their normal rate for several sessions until they are comfortable with you. They want to be treated like a person too, and the more you get to know them the less guarded they become. For me, the ones that I've been able to get under market rates are ones that I've seen a few times and spend time talking with at some point. I can see this person potentially getting caught if this happens a few more times. I'd advise to never use cashapp or any electronic transactions for this hobby. It leaves too much of an electronic trail.
