Anybody ever confuse you with being human?
Well, whether you buy one on the street or from CL or from AMP or at a strip joint, they're all addicted to SOMETHING, I guarantee it! Coke, crack, smack, vikes, percs, oxys, crank, they're all supporting an expensive habit or they wouldn't be selling their bodies. An SW crackho ain't no different from a CL crackho.
Sorry Chuck, that blanket harsh generalization way not right..maybe SW's down on the street I wouldn't know about there. However, should look at the post reminding you that they are still people..Dancer shot herself in front of her two children. Nobody has ever heard of her doing drugs. Never heard of her playing outside club. Nobody knows why. I knew her..sad.
If you practice becoming a human being yourself and remember they are people too...world will be a better place.
Think about it..Are we scum for using their addictions..preying on them..Heck yes we are??
Yep, some are addicted to drugs! You will find many more are single mothers and "addicted" to taking care of some kids. You will find that a number of them are just poor and "addicted" to college tuition trying to get the heck out(and usually with kids too). You will find that a large number of them came from seriously abusive backgrounds. This propelled them into a life of uneducated poverty..so they are "addicted" to things like food and rent. Hard to make enough money to support two kids on your own with no education because you ran away at 15 because (fill in the blank here____, dad, uncle, stepdad) was molesting you beating your mom and sister.
The one that gets me the most are the ones that are "addicted" to a user, looser boyfriend or husband. Looser boyfriend preys on them, abuses them etc. He keeps them in the life to support his bad habits (like not wanting to work or his drugs). This one amazes me but so common.
Last, there are a few "addicted" to sex..Rare and usually they are confused with a need for affection. Some are desperate for someone to care and not not sex. So they are easy prey for us bad males.
We prey on these addictions. Don't kid yourself we don't and we are somehow better than them.
Time to try growing a heart Chuck.
Please no drama for this board.
I assume you're not being hypocritical and you have already grown a heart Doc. I challenge you to practice what you preach then, and vow to never purchase affection again and instead take all the money you would have spent and donate it to programs to rehabilitate, educate, and provide medical and legal services, to these poor sex workers who are caught in a vicious cycle of drug addiction and being exploited by people like you and me. No wait, I forgot you're the only one whose prostitutes (yes escorts are prostitutes too, they're just 4 walls away from being a SW) and strippers never touched a drug. In fact I don't see how you've not been blinded by their shining halos! Give me a break, you're the only one I don't respect with your holier than though, stick your head in the sand attitude. You're part of the vicious cycle of preying on women in the depths of a hard to escape terrible life, just like I am.
FACT:
* Alcohol and drug addiction among all sex workers (street prostitutes, exotic dancers, and escorts) is widespread, with various studies of prostituted women in U.S. cities reporting addiction rates of 92 percent to 94 percent to 100 percent. In some instances, women seem to turn to prostitution to support their habit; in other instances, drug and alcohol addiction may follow the onset of prostitution, with women turning to drugs and alcohol to numb themselves in their encounters with clients.
Hey Chuck no offense but where are you getting you fact crap from. Is it maybe the byist reports put out by the news media. Because they always report factual stuff. And never take sides to make an issue seem worse than it is. Or reports released by LEO so they can justify not legalizing a victimless crime. Or maybe one sponsored by a bunch of goodie two shoes bible thumpers and hypocrites. It wouldn't be those kind of reports would it.
I agree what they all do SW, escort or any lady who does what they do for money is in the same category as far as industry and the court and laws eyes. But the real difference is in how they do business and handle themselves and what they offer. A world of difference between a SW and an escort in that respect. And as Doc said and myself no halo's here just guy who like our Jollies and having some fun. He never claimed not to be anything else. I mean a lot of guys in this hobby are addicted to sex. But I would rather that than alcohol and drugs. Because an over sexed person behind a wheel is a lot less likely to kill someone.
As for the ladies around here I know of at least 6 I see regularly and talk to on the phone and email just to chat that are nothing like your facts or claims. And they are all escorts not SW's. Yes most SW's are that is why it is so cheap for the need of a fast fix. All the Doc was saying is some of these ladies are good people and they should be treated with respect. The attitude you portrait in your words<and I think you are not really this way just the way it comes off, is that these ladies are scum and it doesn't matter how they are treated. That could really give some new guy with a abusive attitude the wrong idea about how to treat these girls. It is also the kind of attitude that gets the attention of LEO and the news groups and causes them to report stuff like you facts and how it is such a dangerouse business and should be cracked down on. We should try to avoid this kind of attention, monger and lady alike.
Now with that , let me say I am not critizing just observing and making a statement. I am not being personal or trying to start drama because God knows I hate that. So please don't take it that way. I am also not critizing where one likes to shop because it is, after all a matter of ones taste and budget and likes. To each his own you know. So lets just chalk this one up to a good discussion and all be friends.
Happy Hunting
P.S. Sorry for the long diatribe I hate it as much as you all probably do.
Any places to look in Maryville/Lenoir/Loudon
I notice all the SW & escort reports seem to concern Knoxville. Any pointers to Maryville/Lenoir City/Loudon activity?
PM is fine. Or ignore me!
Thanks for any information.
Can take a horse to water but can't make them drink

Thought I did include myself as part of the problem in multiple posts..Oh well... I'm back to being part of the problem.
Chuck..sorry you took it so personal..

Not a personal attack.
Maybe you should of read a little closer.
1. I said I WAS part of the problem and we were all preying on them..Was the major thrust of my argument. We prey on their addictions whatever they are.
2. Agreed with you that drugs are part of the problem but that there are other problems too. I'm definitely not blinded by any halos and especially note I don't have one. But I do know lots that haven't touched a drug in their life. I know others (including dancers) drugged out of their minds. Know a number that can't dance with out drugs or drunk. See Chuck we really aren't in disagreement.
But I know others that aren't too...
3. Suggested that none of us (including ME) not any better than them.
So maybe all of us should cut the girls some slack on judging them summarizes the thrust of my arguments.
Pigeon holing a complex problem in one overly simplistic solution (drugs or what ever) (like our authorities do in the reports you quote) doesn't help matters.
I'm going back to being part of the problem.
PS: Considering my line of work, I'd say alcohol and drug addiction in the general populace is way up there too.
Have a nice day! Enuf of this..
