My PM box got slammed.
Will someone here please verify that RICO was the hammer used in OFC, and met and greets were part of it? I feel like the Lone Ranger here.
Was not a coed M & G but rather several girls got together to discuss 'things". It was set up by Darcy Piotrowski, that wackjob spocko's girlfriend I think. She, and I'm quoting here, "...organized luncheons for the escorts in high-end restaurants and provided professional speakers on such topics as how to avoid law enforcement and what to do about taxes."
And yes, it started with JR and his Private Pets outfit. They went after TDB in a big way because he made no effort to hide what he was doing.

Bottom line is you have to be nuts to discuss a M & G on a public forum.
Think, people, think!
If I'm not mistaken, a RICO charge is what kept the perky and lovely Tabitha Blue as a guest of the County for quite a while before they dropped the RICO charges. Met her through a Vetteman referral on Armenia, I believe. I still owe you one for her. She was marvelous.
She was a doll that got a real screwing (so to say) from the legal system.
The RICO charges sent her bail sky-high, as I recall.
Wasn't there a big deal at the time on TBD about collecting money for the girls for financial help, but not one helped Tabitha? She was in a Pasco jail for several weeks after the rest got out, which is why I think she got lost in the system.
Ps. For the record, I love talkin' to y'all, but I'd never meet in person. Just too dangerous.
Word, bro...
All true. I'll add that the actual beginnings of OFC was the bust of JR at Private Pets. He's the one who gave LE an earful, and threw TBD under the bust. The Lia Nice fiasco was the result of that.
Bottom line: I have no problem with M&G's. But putting them out in public is pure lunacy. And anywhere but a private board where members are well vetted in public.
OOOPS!!! OFC!!! of course! I do recall. Brain wasn't workin'

There is still a working link in there somewhere that will allow you to download the initial exhibit that contained most of the charges filed and some of the supporting statements.

Yeah, I seem to recall this also. The problem is that most of the arrestees had a reasonable bail amount, and you could spring one of the ladies for a couple hundred dollar bond fee (and I imagine she'd be darn grateful for your getting her released).
Tabitha's bail, after the RICO charges, was north of $100, 000, I believe, meaning that you'd have to pony up over $10, 000 to get her out. Hence, she spent a lot of time in an orange jumpsuit. I'm pretty sure they were trying to get her to narc out some other folks, hence the RICO charge and inflated bail. Which eventually got dramatically reduced and allowed her release.
Am I correct in my recollection? Gee, it was easier in the days where we used to send Joe Redner letters and copies of emails telling him to set up a Mons Venus website. LOL.

Original Tampa Dave
I seem to recall that the indictment was a State one, and Tabitha lived in Pasco. She was the only one picked up in Pasco and went to a Pasco jail. The others went to Pinellas or Hillsborough. I think that Brown and Bowling just forgot about her because the shit was flying around TBD and Piotrowski.
She fell through the cracks. Brown petitioned for lower bail when they figured that out.

I had a pretty in depth interview with Brown and Bowling during the investigation due to me having the w.w. site up. They realized pretty quickly that I was the anti-tbd and had nothing to do with him nor was I running a similar operation.
Brown was pretty young I thought then to be taking this on. I think if they were really serious, they would have placed someone more "seasoned" in charge.
Bowling was a pretty cool due given his occupation and had a crazy sense of humor. He told me he was in the military reserves so I hope he did not get caught up in this Iraqi mess.
Two ok fellows just doing what they were told. I think that they would have both rather been doing something else.
Bowling was pretty serious about protecting his witnesses though. When crazy spocko started making threats against those involved in the case against his ***** Darcy, Bowling got real serious about nailing him. That is one thing that I wish they could have done, rid the planet of spocko.
