I've had some well-known girls tell me that they've blown cops on a regular basis to aviod arrest, but not in Seattle - mostly Los Angeles (anyone surprised by that? I'm not). I saw a girl named Special some time ago and she told me that Seattle cops have paid her to blow them, but never under the condition of avoiding arrest.

Of course, i'm not there so I have no idea what is and isn't true.

I don't know if girls really talk to cops about us while getting arrested for a misdeamor charge, maybe the more dangerous ones among us, but general hobbyists I don't think have to worry. The cops already know us, anyway, right?

Most of the girls I've dated have had off duty cops as customers, and I don't have a problem with that. I've never heard of a SW blowing an officer on duty to avoid arrest, I think that would get in the papers in no time and the officer would get fired. Not to say it's never happened, but I'm guessing it's exceedingly rare, particular in Seattle.

As far as asking about us, I've heard the DP regulars say the cops will ask them if there is any scary or violent guy they should keep an eye out for, but that's about it. Like Avenue said, I think the cops already know who we are. Any of us who regularly cruise the AAA/Hostess Strolls have been spotted numerous times by undercover who has undoubtably ran our plates. They've probably seen my car a thousand times and have probably witnessed me picking up a 100 different hookers. One night while cruising the AAA with one of my regulars, she pointed out four different undercovers. And there is no possibility of being stealth while circling the AAA.

Spent New Year's Eve in this downtown club. Nice place that didn't appear to be crawling with singles. Toward the end of the evening I happened on to the dance floor where a sexy, slightly sleepy-eyed blonde was dancing alone. I took up with her and she danced sexily. At one point I got a little frisky and she backed off and threatened to leave the floor. I quickly apologized and all was well.

A few minutes later over drinks she asked me whether I had some money, as she had a place we could go nearby.

Then the lights went up in the club and a swarm of people came in after hours. I lost track of the girl and went home empty-handed (actually not quite true, I drove home another hot chick and her friend who were waiting for a cab, but nothing came of it).

Anyway, I'm wondering whether the club scene in general and this one in particular are reputed to be attended by women of ill repute, or whether this was a one-off experience.

There are a couple of college BSWs i've seen in the AAA - Ebony and Kahlua, who both hang out at an after-hours club downtown after the stroll slows down. They both said that they find work in there sometimes.

I've heard that the casinos have SWs and the like who hang around, but I wouldn't know as I hate casinos and never visit them.

I have mostly lurked here but have been more active on some other boards. Most of my activity has been in the north end, KK stroll. Its been pretty dead there for awhile, at least when I go there. Just wondering if any of you guys are having luck there.

I'm there almost every Tuesday. You just got lucky because it was New Year's Eve. Occasionally someone from the street will go there because there is no cover, but I haven't met one actual working girl there and I've been going for close to a year.

I took the AAA Stroll tonight and noticed quite a few good looking girls, however I was too chickensh** to pick one up. What is a good way to get over this? Also where is the hostess, I drove up and down dexter and didn't see one working girl, am I in the wrong area?

Hostess - if you are on Dexter then you are in the right area. Most of the action is off of Dexter on Thomas and Harrison, between Aurora and Dexter. A good amount of action is also on Auroroa between these two blocks. A good thing to do is park on Dexter itself or on Thomas or Harrison and just watch. If it's early (10-12), then it's possible not to see anything.

It took me a long time before I started picking anyone up - particularly in the AAA. I'd cruise and watch, but this gave me some great info and confidence. In my opinion it's always better to cruise though an area and watch for a bit before picking up - that way you get a feel as to what's happening in the area. Just park in the AAA and make eye contact and someone will get in your car eventually.

I finally started picking girls up on "off" nights at first - during the week when the crowds and action weren't so intimidating. However, I do believe you are "safer" from police on weekends - just too much going on for them to notice or care. It can be much hotter during the week.

How is this place a pick-up joint? I like the music which will keep me there for a couple of drinks. Is it unusual to find a single woman in there without a horde of friends?

I did a little cruise last night down pac hwy. Just as I was passing by the sunset, I saw the local hoe labor union punching their time cards and coming out to work. Hoe local68 (you know blow me and I'll owe ya one). Anyway, just as they were coming out to work and the mongers were lining up, one very pissed off Kent LE cruiser started his job at taking down the hoes one by one. In all I saw 6 BSW and possible WSW and 2 WSW's that doubled as a old growth tree trunks. Of the 6 & trees I saw him take down 4 of the BSW and 1 of the trees got cut down.

I suggest that you do whatever is comfortable for you. Sometimes I used to park with a passenger-side window open and let 'em chat with me. Now I usually approach by walking. It just depends on how you feel comfortable.

The let the girl talk to you through the window method is okay for guys like you, I, and Chubbles, but I'm not sure it's the best advice for a newbie who might not recognize a sting. The best advice for a newbie is the good ol' standby: Don't say or do anything until she is in your car and you're driving away.

And of course my recommendation is to always not pick the first one up. The next 900 get a lot easier.

Talking through a window to SW's
If I have seen a SW before or if she has been strolling then I will sometimes talk through the window. But if she is SW I don't know and she is stand in one spot then it's not a good idea. The other problem is that there is greater chance a cop will spot you.

Walking up to SW's:
Walking up to a SW works sometimes, but I usually only do it as a last resort. There are some SW's who don't like this so you might miss out on one you like.

Hizark, Titman has been around long enough, he can do whatever he wants. The newbie on the other hand should follow a fairly rigid set of instructions.

When I worked in Los Angeles every week during summer '06, I used to walk up Lincoln Blvd - sometimes all the way to Venice Blvd - and pick up the girls. Worked every time and I was able to have an innocent chat with them off-street to check them out first. Scored some HOT ones that way, unbelievable. For some odd reason I actually felt safer doing it this way.

I've had some girls here in Seattle tell me that they get pissed when they see a guy circling the block non-stop, quite a few have recommended that the guys get out and walk for a bit and maybe chat up the girls. I tried it once in AAA on an off-night and it worked...until she discovered my car was a long way away and I didn't have a hotel room!
