I'm sure a few others agree about this "White Knight" syndrome or self-promotion that's going on, but I do agree with you on the "self-appointed forum cops" when it relates to the "hold the line" mentality. Standard tipping has remained the same for over 10-years, for the majority of MT's so I can relate to these "self-appointed forum cops" criticising someone whom tips a few bucks more, thinking it's F'ing it for everyone else on a budget.
