The best providers have consistently stellar reputations, and there is no shortage of men looking for someone to give their money to. A woman may rob five or ten customers in a new location before people figure out who she is and what she's about, but that plan is amazingly short sighted compared to the options given to someone consistently providing good service. Some of the higher end clients can be very meticulous in their research before even seeing a girl, and I know many who won't even bother seeing a woman if she doesn't have enough reviews. Its such a silly way to shoot yourself in the foot.
Don't get yourself into trouble by doing a direct retaliation. If you have any regular that you see often, just tell them. They girls don't like the robbers because it causes a bad name for them on the street. You let enough of them know they will do their own version. Also, since most of Hawai'I is word of mouth, they loose clients and never get repeat service. I forgot which girl, but there was one way back who didn't understand why we stopped dating her. Kept saying it was the 'other' girl.

She was on the mauka side of South Kukui Street near the back of Longs, and in the Diamond Head-makai section of the Longs / Safeway parking lot. Sometimes she was walking, sometimes she was standing, and sometimes she was sitting. She had the relatively sleazy look of a potential provider, but as far as I could tell, she wasn't soliciting anyone or making eye contact with random men. I didn't try to approach her because she was always with one or more drug user type men whom she seemed to know. My best guess would be that currently she's a drug user who isn't yet publicly providing, but could become a provider in the future.

This girl was younger than BSG by a few years. Also remembered BSG saying that her cousin stopped dating because she got a 2 for 1 special. BSG said her cousin had 2 STD for the price of 1 date. I cannot confirm this info, but it was what BSG said. I vaguely remember she said HSV and something else.

When we locked eyes she immediately walked over and asked what I was doing tonight and if I needed some company. Not 100% sure I invited her for a drink. Then she said that she offered a different type of company. We were surrounded by people passing by so I acted like I didn't know what she meant. Then an older middle age white lady explained what the younger Asian girl was providing. I told them I didn't have a location and they offered a incall. Something felt off so I told them maybe later and asked for their number. They mentioned leaving in the morning and told me to message when ready. I've lived in Waikiki for 2 months and never had this type of approach. Is this the norm or did I avoid a police sting?

She seemed to be very reckless, showing signs of drug use / mental health issues, IMO; your recollection of this experience is not unusual or unbelievable. Don't get me wrong-she was not a troublemaker, but just uninhibited due to whatevers.

Might want to check the police arrest log for that night to see if there were arrests of other men in Waikiki for prostitution-related offenses. If it was some sort of sting using a "young" and "beautiful" girl, it probably would have resulted in the arrests of some less-cautious men.
Weren't the prostitutes banned in Waikiki?

I parked off of lewers on Manukai and walked around the corner to the hotel. As I was waiting downstairs for the provider 2 women matching your description crossed the street coming from kalakaua heading towards ala wai on lewers. The provider never answered the call and I ended up leaving. I remember thinking I should've asked the 2 wahines if they provided as they looked like they did LOL. Of course, can't guarantee these were the same women but one was a cute Asian the other white. The white woman looked older and thicker it was hard to make out being that early and they were wearing black tops and black miniskirt.
Just an observation but on the same street just a block away early morning looking like they were heading home for the night.

News reports relate that shortly after 5:00 in the morning (when it was still dark), she stepped out from behind a bus and tried to cross a highway on foot without using a crosswalk. She was then accidentally hit by a car, and pronounced dead at a medical center.

Suddenly, an HPD private car pulled up with its lights off and blocked my vehicle into the parking space. Fortunately, before the officer reached my vehicle, I was able to pull my pants and underwear much of the way up and cover my lap with the bottom of my large shirt. The provider popped up like a jack-in-the-box and was sitting straight up in the passenger seat. The officer requested my driver's license and paperwork, and went back to his car. A few minutes later, he returned, gave me back the license and paperwork, and said: "Mr. (real name), you will need to have your 'fun' elsewhere". He then let me drive away. Interestingly, at no time did he question the provider or ask for her identification. However, he did take a good look at her.
That was just my personal experience, which of course may not be typical.
As long as neither the man nor the woman foolishly admit to prostitution, it seems there usually wouldn't be sufficient evidence to prove that the sexual activity in the car constituted prostitution. However, depending on the circumstances, there may be enough evidence for a petty misdemeanor charge of Open Lewdness (HRS section 712-1217).

You may want to check Hawaii laws regarding the above (because you can get charged with lewd conduct in public, public indecency, public lewdness, indecent exposure, or disorderly conduct) for the charges, if any. HRS section 707-734, Hawaii's petty misdemeanor offense of Indecent Exposure, but to violate that law requires that a person "intentionally exposes the person's genitals to (another) person to whom the person is not married under circumstances in which the actor's conduct is likely to cause affront".
HRS section 711-1101, Disorderly Conduct, prohibits a variety of conduct. The only subsection I see that could be potentially relevant to this type of situation would be making "unreasonable noise". There is another subsection that prohibits subjecting a person "to offensively coarse behavior," but that requires the behavior "is likely to provoke a violent response". Regarding punishment: "Disorderly conduct is a petty misdemeanor if it is the defendant's intention to cause substantial harm or serious inconvenience, or if the defendant persists in disorderly conduct after reasonable warning or request to desist. Otherwise disorderly conduct is a violation," which is a non-criminal offense.
