They don't die because of you
Great you brought up Marilyn. Marilyn and Maddie buys dope from the same dealers. Maddie is violent and out of control, out of mind. Marilyn is not. Same dope, different result. Dope is not the reason Maddie is violent.
Marilyn looks that way at least since two summers ago. Scabs come and go. I don't see any warning signs. Can she die tonight? Yea of course it can happen. But that's because her dope dealer added tad too much Frankenstein of opioid on it on the particular packet, not because I gave her extra 10 or 20 over my regular donation.
I heard Maddie needed Narcan from death a few months ago. She walked like it was nothing next day.
She is a terrible addict. But it doesn't explain her violent acts.
Usually meth users are more violent. Her choice is boi and girl, not meth.

I'm new to the scene but tend to agree w / Fenske. Maddie still looks good on the outside (at least for now), but internally she's a mess and is long overdue for a change.
I also saw Angel / Marilyn yesterday, she has a better attitude but physically she's sunk a long way from when I saw her back in January. Basically a walking scab, open sores all over her legs, chest, arms and face. She may still have a good eager attitude, but she looks like Skeletor and in need of immediate medical attention. I just don't want to hear about one of them leaving us and then have to wonder if it was my $$$ that she used that day to send herself over the edge. (I know some will argue that it's their decision what they do with our $$ and not 'our' problem, but fact is most of them no longer have control and it's really their demons making those decisions for them). Sorry for the sermon, just trying to find the balance between having harmless fun vs. Accountability.
