I wouldn't call it game or anything like that, I more pretend to be oblivious to how things work and slowly let them realize I'm well aware of the situation I'm in. It busts a bit of their confidence and makes them more likely to agree to a lowball while letting them think it was good price.
You don't have to be insulting to the girls to make them agreeable. This is probably the biggest mistake I hear about and it makes it easier for me, so keep making it. Those questions let me know their familiarity with club and how they might set the price and probably where you can undercut reasonably. I'm a little autistic when it comes to reading people, so I think I'm pretty good at it. Probably not but confidence is key.

The tend to hang around together, away from the rest of the dancers, their prices were dead set among all of them. It's ultimately up to each girl what she will & won't do, and some girls do find a way to do this without going down that path.
I've had some good luck with days, then there have been days where the only dancer who looked decent while I was there was only in the mood to talk about third-wave feminism at the bar rather than any rooms. You never know.
I think it's fair to say there are advantages to daytime, as long as you don't feel like you should be doing something more useful with your life during that time of day.
While there will be fewer ladies working during the day, there's also less competition to get their attention. The ratio of girls to customer is likely to play more into the customer's favor. It could be more like 1:1 customers to girls during the day, while it might be more like 4:1 or 5:1 at night. Fewer girls might also mean fewer willing to oblige your wants if you have something unusual in mind, though.
In my experience, there's not necessarily any falloff in the quality of girl during the day. Some girls just like daytime better because it's an easier, slower vibe. I think older dancers like daytime because it's less crazy and there's usually more older customers. Generally speaking, dayshift customers are there for the girls, not the party like the nighttime crowd, and spend.
Prices will be the same during the day, but it will be way lower pressure and less rushed, which I think is added value.
It's not a huge difference, though, and it kinda depends on what you want out of the experience. There is something to be said for the buzz of a packed club at night versus the easy going daytime vibe that gets the adrenaline going more. There are pros and cons. Whatever works for you.

The most I would ever take into a Detroit area club is $800 plus cover and valet if the club requires it, and that would be Flight Club or Landing Strip, and that's only if I was going to get two dances. The rest around $250 to $400. I typically bring $250 to $300 at Bogarts and Henry and $400 to Criket or BT's that covers drinks and one dance, and I often come out of the clubs with $100 or so unspent.
