If it's a new provider I've never seen, I try to keep them on the line with various techniques. I will never head their way until I put the address into maps then add another 5-10 minutes to allow me to scout the place first when I pull up. So if that time ends up being 30 minutes I ask if 30 minutes or whatever the actual time will be for my arrival works for them. If they don't acknowledge, I don't even get in the car. If it's truly a 30 min commute then about 10 min away I'm texting again for confirmation. Most of the time they will respond but if not then I have to make a judgement call on if it's even worth continuing the drive or pivot to reaching out to another ad. Experienced providers are also usually asking you to text them about 5-10 minutes ahead of time anyway as their way to get confirmation you're still coming.
I've also had situations where the chick is just giving out the address and and telling everyone to come. Whoever gets there first is going to be in the door and everyone else is stuck waiting for her to finish up. I get it, they're trying to make as much cash as possible and that only happens when the dude walks through the door. Still it's frustrating and has the possibility to create a bad situation for them. You never know who the client is going to be or their mental state. Now you ghosted them for 30 minutes or more and they're just sitting in the parking lot fuming if they even stuck around. They show up to the room with negative energy.
Other times it's two chicks traveling together sharing a single room and they're both fielding calls but there's only one room available for the action. Whoever gets a client to show up first is the one who now runs the show. The other girl likely isn't going to be straight up and tell you what's happening. She's going to reach out as soon as the room is available and then try to pass it all off onto her friend or make up some other BS excuse.
I've had to learn to cut bait and leave shortly after getting no response. As soon as it seems like things have gone cold I start looking for other ads that I suspect are in the same area as an alternative. Also, if I get there early enough and happen to catch a glimpse of her going between rooms I may decide to ghost her because she's catfishing with her ad photos.
