I just had to say this: the Hawaii forum must be the most active. I have traveled to other parts of the US and will be traveling again soon. I try to read up on the local available talent wherever I'm going and a lot of states either have another site they go to or the action is totally dead. Or maybe they don't have the Aloha spirit to help each other and share their experiences?

Crickets. Very annoying. Ended up wasting money an a fatty. There are a few active members in each, but really it's pathetic. LA, San Diego forums not as bad, but still, nothing compares to Honolulu. No states I've ventured to anyway.

I think that one big factor is that (from my reading only in advance of a trip) you have a lot more, good options than most everywhere else. So there's a lot more to write about. Also, since there are many good choices more people participate and aren't as afraid to try out new places because the chances are they will be good.

The only good spot I found there, is no longer there. Hana spa I think it was on Clairmont Mesa Blvd. Every other place I tried after has been blah.
