I hung up on him as I did not have time to play any games. He called back 3-4 more times and I answerd again and he stated because I hung up on him it is now a class 2 felony. I again told him that I did not know what he was talking about and asked him where he was calling from and he stated downtown Memphis. I told him I was at work and did not have time for this and he stated that he would be at my work to arrest me. I never got a chance to ask him his name, badge number supervisor, etc.

I searched the phone number and there are several other adds with the same dates in Pittsburgh, San Diego, Rochester, Tampa, Delaware and teh list goes on.

Now, several of you are laughing right now and I know why. There is nothing wrong with making a phone call. I did not want to get into an argument with this person over what is or is not soliciting; I know there has to be a discussion of services, a commitment to perform an illegal act, and sometimes a financial transaction before any charges.. I of course did not make the call and there is no proof who made the call. Second, solicitation is a misdemeanor, not a felony.Third, this person has no way of knowing who I am, nor where I work. I found this amusing at first and then thought of Extortion.

Either way, this put a little joy in my day and hope you enjoyed reading.
