It's good to see someone remembers the 'Hey Day' of Stewart Ave. Back then you could pop in the Alamo Motel, get your fill and not have a care in the world. That's when old Club Nikki's was still the Purple Onion. I sure miss the late 80s / early 90s. Back then Auburn Avenue was still in effect. Why did things have to change?

She may have been from there, but can't be sure. Plus I think the Motocycle clude guys stopped the parties so that killed it.
As for the undaground, I have been to some others and some come fairly close. I hear about at least 1 a month somewhere.
As promised here's my update of last week.coming off from a good weekend from FIB. Last Monday my intent was to get some work done to my locs at Sonia's but it was a no go. On the way home I hit up FIB and saw a nice ensemble of girls on the stroll. I saw a non pro who stated 6. For a price but I had a hundred dollar bill to break first. Only scary Crackheads near monroe and Trannys on piedmont. Avoid unless you're into that. I've seen only the occasional SW on Cheshire Bridge. Mostly they are WSW's that are too good to be true. And you have to go through every day and maybe you'll see something once in a week.
I must be going through the wrong part of the Bluffs, because I never see anything out. Been through twice this week with no results. Hope that helps.

Got an old Metro story I'd like to share. It was late one night and I got the urge to see what was happening on metro. It was really stupid cause I was waiting on a paycheck and only had $80 to my name. Oh and the really stupid part, a hurricane that had made it's way up from Florida (was only a tropical storm at this time) was just starting to effect the area. I find this rain drenched 5 on the SW scale and figure what the hell. Do my business and start to find my way back home. I end up hitting this lake of water that had formed in the road on metropolitan and my engine seizes up. It was my worst nightmare come true. Luckily the raging storm kept me somewhat safe. Got out of the car to help another driver who also got stuck. He ended up being a monger as well. We talked about how stupid we were and got completely drenched pushing our cars out of the water. Had to wait (wet and cold) 6 hours for a tow truck because of the storm. Got home in time to take a shower and find a ride to work in the morning. That sucked!
My car never recovered.

Was there today for a half hour and other than the constant darkness nothing to write home about.........i did see a potential something but mongering around kids is a no no.

Every "Travelodge" that I've ever seen attracts SW and general lowlifery like a buffet attracts fat chicks. They seem to have mgmt that will look the other way and take every dollar they can get.
There's already the infamous TL on FIB and another down off Cleveland Rd., and both are overrun with SW.
Now there's this new TL off Windy Hill Rd., I think it used to be an Econolodge until recently, but look for it to follow suit. I doubt that TL moved into that location intending to compete for the same high-end travelers that are using the nearby Hyatt, Marriott or Hilton Garden Inn.
