The below was more of a cry of frustration. I also agree that there are definitely unreliable providers out there but by and large the ones who post here are not of that variety. Unless otherwise occupied, responses to texts tend to come relatively quickly. Hopefully the Monger ISO thread will work.

Second. If you are on the sister site and sending a PM that your messages do not always go thru. I know personally there has been occasions where a member stated they sent me a PM and I never received it.

Third. They simply aren't interested. Some providers will simply ignore those emails while others may send a quick note stating schedule is filled or that they are not interested.

It should never be done after the agreement is made to see one another. That would be rude. A man has a right to present his case for rates. A woman has a right to say no. Who bargains or does not, that should also be worked out before a reference is given and the referers preferences should be honored as it their reputation to be considered also. I negotiate almost everything, I enjoy the process. However I never negotiate with one of the ladies. If the asking rate is higher than I am willing to give after considering the pleasure I expect to have based on my research then I politely say no thank you or never call in the first place. My theory is that if a quality provider takes less than she really expects then the session may very well be less than her best. The best experience possible is what I am hoping to have when I make an appointment. Each to their own, just my approach.

1. Nobody ever paid a phone bill with a good review.

2. Why should a provider trust someone who says they will write a good review, when the person agreed to the price to be paid before walking in the door? They've already proven they can't be trusted.

3. Why should anyone pay attention to their reviews if the only determining factor is whether or not they got a discount?

4. The time to bargain is before you set the appointment. Do you go to a restaurant, order your food and then ask for a 20% discount once the food is on the table?

5. If you get a referral from someone, you are accepting responsibility for their reputation. If you're going to be an asshole, mention it to the person you're asking to refer you.

"Hey, can you do me a favor? Can you give me a referral to see provider x? She won't see me without a reference. I'm going to be a dickhead when I see her, but I'm sure you don't mind. Hello? Hello?

I don't think BgDoc3 was being disrespectful, on the contrary he was saying to respect the providers agreement.

To ask a provider if they have any specials is not a bad thing. She can politely respond with, "No I don't offer any, my rate is my rate, please let me know if you are still interested". A simple question is not haggling. Haggling comes when the response is "No" and the potential client becomes persistent on asking for a better deal. To ask a provider for a discount if you give a good review is like saying "If you want a good review then I need a discount". I think it's almost the same as saying "I might give you an honest or bad review if you don't give me a discount". Some, very few, providers have and do offer discounts for the "NEXT" visit if a good review has been posted by said client. Again this is rare and is discussed normally at the end of a fully paid session.

I regards to BP and the changes with advertising constraints, I had a long discussion about this the other day with one of the top providers. If a client asks for a discount, her answer is "Sure, what part of my service don't you want for the reduced fee?" It's a sarcastic but pointed response. I told her this is in part a result of many of the BP addicts offering QV for a much reduced rate because it's their marketing tool to drive in quick and easy money. It also doesn't help that BP no longer allows you to advertise rates so clients have to ask about the contribution. The hobbyist's looking for a deal and doesn't like the initial offering normally will respond with "Do you offer discounts" or "No thanks I am looking for something less expensive". The addicts will come back with "Ok well I will see you for X $, does that help? So all of this doesn't help the legit providers on BP.

I agree with JB, Ilapp and all the others. I think each circumstance has it's own uniqueness. My point is these are changing times because of the BP changes and the lack of good escort sites. We, hobbyists and providers, have to modify how we approach the business, ask the questions and respond to the questions. The key thing is to have respect for both the hobbyist and the provider. If a hobbyist doesn't get the hint and acts like a haggler or an asshole then be done with it and move on. If the provider starts discounting immediately, well there are many reasons for this but it's a definite red flag in my opinion.

Why mongers haggle a posted rate. I am apart of the "it's disrespectful " club. Whether its just business pleasure or whatever it is still a intimate act for monger or provider. And it's also boils down to simple economics if she is charging above the going rate based off of whatever criteria eventually she would have to adjust.

But and there's always a but haggling shouldn't be looked at as a bad thing either and I have two examples.

Say I call provider X and inquire about her rate. If I feel it's to high I thank her for her time and move on. Now if business is slow or she has an urgent expense and offers a discount or what I am willing to pay then she opened the door and I will negotiate.

Or if a provider makes unsolicited contact with me looking for business I then also feel as if she has opened the door to negotiate. I guess it just depends on the situation and if it's done respectfully.

The only way I would take a discount in return for a review is if the provider offered it and the service rated a good review.

I post this here because Indy has a higher volume of readers then up North and with a few exceptions most seem fairly insightful.

A provider here is losing regulars and wants to know what she can do to gain and retain clients? Of course I gave my opinion but I'm looking for yours.

In your opinion what would make the perfect provider experience that would have you anticipating your next visit? I'm not referring to menu let's assume that's wide open, but from the time of initial contact until you walk out the door? What are some little things that overlook that impress you or turn you on? What makes it memorable in a good way?

On the other hand, short of an absolutely horrid experience what would turn you off or keep you from returning?

This is a serious question I intend on showing her any comments minus screen names you might offer. Hopefully she and other might read this, gain a little insight and step up their game.

A good provider is part psychiatrist. She listens to the gripes and offers support and comfort, in addition to the other services. They provide relief in more ways than one. As soon as the session is over she should take notes. Nothing incriminating or explicit, but things like "Boss won't listen to his ideas. Wife wants new furniture. " Something to remember the conversation, for the next visit.

3. Presentation. Clean and neat, yourself and your space. Make him feel like you put out some extra effort for his visit. Give him a place that relaxes him, where he doesn't have to watch where he steps or worry about sticking to the furniture.

4. Make sure he leaves with a smile. This is not about the service, but the last few minutes. Make him feel like you want him to come back soon, instead of rushing him out the door.
