I have lost out on many a dream experience because I will never put certain incriminating information into a text or over the phone. I get they want to hear that as a reassurance, which it really isn't, but never compromise yourself even if it's only a dream. It's frustrating at time when I've really wanted to have fun but even in the dream, extreme caution is warranted even if it means dreaming alone.

I've noticed a pattern, and maybe I'm just imagining it, but in the PDX and SEA forums I've noted several posts and PMs over the last few months from 0 (PM only, obviously) and 1 post accounts asking for a lot of information and claiming they have certain types of inside information to share. The posts and PMs sound like experienced board posters but again, these accounts have no activity. I've decided to stay safe and not respond, no one wants a visit from their uncle. Posting just as an FYI and I'm fully willing to consider the fact that I'm paranoid.

I've been active here for a very short time, and have 1 post. On TNA, I've been active since 2006, and have a total of about 20 there. My point? I enjoy this hobby, and stay way under the radar.
Perhaps I've become jaundiced because of TNA and other boards, but I expect someone vying for my business to act with more decorum with regards to business acumen. Providers expect us as clients to be upfront and professional, to the point that some demand an overwhelming amount of information as verification, including real name, employer, etc. In a like manner, I expect a provider to act as if I'm not a bother to her, and to act as if she wants to earn my business.

That said, I still don't think you should be asking guys on the board for information when you're not willing to give any yourself. If you solicit PMs for info on providers you should expect to have to give up the information you have before information is shared with you. Personally I've been burned by newbies getting information from me on providers via PM and not reciprocating. So now I respond to them and tell them to share first before I give them anything and 9 times out of 10 I never get a response. So ya, it's just under the radar guys using the active posters for information without giving back. Assuming they're not just cops trying to figure out which girls to harass.
