Created a new account just so I can post this PSA. Watch out, one of the Indies that has been recommend on this site maybe associated with a scammer. I got contacted the other day by an American scumbag (I'm saying he was American because I did not detect an accent) who was supposed to be a "FBI agent". He tried to prove that he was from the FBI by having me Google "FBI" and it would show the local Charlotte office phone number which happen to be the same number displayed on my caller I'd except the name was "Fed Breau-Nvstg". He then stated that they (the FBI) had a warrant out for my arrest because I visited SKB. They stated that SKB was under investigation and as part of their investigation and my contact information was provided by SKB. This was interesting because I was using a burner and 1st time I used the phone to make an appointment for any massage. After taking the "FBI agent" name and badge number down, I asked for his extension because I was calling the Charlotte FBI Office on my other phone. Amazingly we lost connection, go figure. I'm sorry that we got disconnected because I couldn't get any additional information because I and others I know do have a particular set of skills that I didn't get to use during the call.
The FBI is warning people to beware of impersonation scams. I just though I would share this store, link and I'm interested if other may have been contacted recently after getting a massage from SKB or other indies.
