Updated mongering map for McM
As promised, here is a mongering map updated for the past year when central OTR became too hot for SWs to ply their trade. I previously posted an OTR mongering map in 2007 (which Ceenote recently pointed out), which may still yield good results on occasion:

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, pickings were slim to none on a recent tour of the McM route, but in the past months over the summer, etc, excellent results were scored. I have divided it into the zones mentioned in yesterday's post:
1) former OTR, McM from Vine to Empire Theater (used to be THE spot, less so now)
2) Empire theater, one block either side (frequent candidates)
3) Industrial before McM curves north (occasionally productive)
4) Marshall to MLK (best in recent months)
Let us know if the map works for you, or if the trade has moved to a new district. I will mention one more time that LE obviously knows this info, so I am not giving away the store here. Indeed, recent posts seem to indicate that LE has become disinterested in busting SWs and mongers. If you hear differently, please post it for all of us.

An addition to Giani's route if you are looking for BSWs
There is a stretch of Linn St. that can be somewhat productive if you are looking for BSWs. I am referring to that section of Linn St. between W. Liberty and Central Parkway. Be forewarned that I have NEVER seen a WSW on this stretch of Linn St. despite having been there numerous times since last summer. And even the BSWs that hang there are not that great; some of you may remember my posts about Denise, the BSW who literally robbed me one day last summer. And then there is little Shay, who is often there, but who I can't really recommend based on the rushed and impersonal service I have had from her. The best BSW I ever picked on on Linn St. was a late thirties, large BSW named Sherry or Sheri. She had very good skills and a great attitude. I have heard recommendations for a BSW in this area named Valerie, but I have no first-hand experience with her.
To scout the Linn St. area, just turn down Mohawk from McM. It is the street that runs right into the theater on McM. Go on past Central Parkway and the street turns into Linn St. Go down to W. Liberty and turn around to go back up Linn St. The most likely area for success is just before you get to the Popeyes joint. You can go on up Linn St. to McM, turn left and go all the way down McM to MLK. Or, you can turn left on Central Parkway from Linn St. and go all the way to the motel area (Interstate, Rest Inn, and Budget Host). Although I have never scooped anyone on Central Parkway, I know that there are occasional opportunities in this area as SWs are in and out of those three motels.
As usual, Giani has given great advice on how to be safe when pursuing brief liaisons with SWs. Never offer anything more than a ride until the girl is safely in the car and you are driving away with her.
Giani mentioned doing some "checks," and if you are a newbie, you may have no idea how to do a "check." Maybe someone will chime in here and give a brief tutorial on "checks."
Doing "Checks" on the girl you are giving a ride.
"Checks" are means of ensuring that the ride you are offering is not to LE. These are conducted as you drive out of the hot zone, after she has hopped right into your car (absolutely no negotiations through the window) and presents as a person you would like to meet. They take a number of forms:
1) After she says yes, she needs a ride, and you are comfortable with the initial impression, ask "Do you work for the police department?" She of course says "No!"
2) Ask if there is any way she can prove it. You should not suggest how yet. (Never talk about any sexual activity until the check is finished.)
3) If she is a true, even minimally experienced SW, she will grab your crotch, and ask for you to grab hers. This is also a VERY good idea to ensure that you have in fact picked up a female. She may show some breast. ASK FIRST if she minds that you touch them.
4) The foolproof, gold standard of checks, is, after asking permission, to insert a finger into her love tunnel. NEVER will LE allow that, and, not to be too graphic, the odor you bring back will give evidence of what service you may or may not want to engage. If it smells sweet and delicious, congrats!
If you complete these steps successfully, you have eliminated LE because they do not allow any intimate physical contact. However, while I have never heard of it occurring in Cincinnati, LE may employ an SW to perform a sting. SWs may do this because they are under threat of hard time due to charges of drug distribution, (etc). So it is not *impossible* that an SW may be an LE informant.
To reduce the risk of a sting as well as being robbed, watch your tail for several side street turns after your pick up (always a good idea). Also, look for a wire as she lifts her blouse. If a car follows you for more than two side street turns, find a safe major street location to turn her out. This will avoid theft from her dudes as well as arrest by LE. Tell her, sorry, you thought she was a friend from before.

Weird & Odd Things I Have Seen Lately
Weird & Odd Things I Have Seen While Out Mongering Lately:
1. A black pimp pushing a WSW in a blue foot cast on the street, only to drop her off (crutches and all) on a stoop looking for work on a borderline chilly late-fall afternoon, and then heading back down the street, block-after-block, with her empty wheelchair. I really wanted to buy her a coffee.
2. No SWs of merit out on recent gorgeous days. (See my previous post.)
3. A man on the street wearing a poncho and a ten-gallon-hat selecting a blonde out of a small group of SWs. (Yeah, you'll never stick out in Cincinnati wearing a poncho.)
4. A car pulled cock-eyed into an empty parking space out of dozens of empty parking spaces on McM near Dunlop with its headlights AND brakelights fully illuminated, and watching not one but two LEOs just drive right on by without even slowing down. (If that had been me.)
5. On a night when few cars, mongers or otherwise, were out on absolutely vacant streets (meaning that everyone stuck out like sore thumbs), watching one SW entice a driver over curbside, and then shortly, another driver pulls up along side the first cars driver's side door, stopped in a traffic lane. Both had headlights & brakelights on and the SW was leaning in the window. This was at the tail end of Elm just past Henry. A frequent LEO spot. And not one of the car's drivers or the SW was in a hurry at all.

Covington seems pretty empty of SW activity these days
I often make a loop or two in Covington, going north on Madison from about 12th street down to 3rd, then over to Scott, a right turn, and back south for about a mile. Last summer there was a fair amount of SW activity in Covington, and on a few nice days it was really jumping. But lately I have seen very little and yesterday saw nothing at all. I went over to Cincy and did my usual routes without turning up anything appealing to me; just not much to choose from at all. Today (Thursday) might be a bit better with the warmer weather. Sorry for the blah blah report, but I just didn't have anything else right now.

I am never out at that time of night, so I don't know what the pickings are at 5:30 AM. But you might try the same route on your way TO work rather than on your way home. Just give yourself a half hour or so to check out the area and another half hour to play around if you are able to make a pickup. Just keep those rules in mind and watch your back!
How a "car date" may beat a motel room and who needs a GFE???
I cruised McM today from the downtown area to MLK. It was about 3:00 PM and I saw only ONE BSW and no WSWs. The BSW was a 25 year old super heavy weight I had seen twice before. The second time being a tryst in a motel room. Actually, that motel room experience wasn't all positive because when I saw the full extent of her obesity, it was a bit of a turn off for me. Anyway, you know what happened, right? I turned around and scooped her up as I headed back on McM toward the downtown area. I did have to listen to various tales of woe on the drive toward a downtown parking garage I have used a couple of times and generally like as a spot for a car date (total cost at the parking garage was $.50). She told me about being beaten up by a guy who was "trying to be her pimp," and about how she had no place to sleep tonight, and other life crises.
Anyway, we do the deed at the garage and it was an enjoyable time. She has decent skills and a great attitude. In other words, I got off and she laughed at my jokes. And in the car all I could see was her face, which was decent, and one large breast that had been pulled out from under her sweater. Sometimes less is more.
I got to thinking about how escorts often advertise that they proviide a GFE (girl friend experience). Now me, I don't even WANT a GFE. I want a nasty street **** for a 30 minute (max) relationship, not a GFE with dfk, daty, etc., etc. To each his own, I guess.
