There is a lot less discussion about what you're talking about (mutations ORIGINATING in vaccinations), let alone about such mutations coming almost entirely from vaccinated people. Where that belief can be found it is from a very few fringe doctors and the idea spread by people who are generally opposed to covid vaccinations, mandates and other public health measures in general.

The concept, also known as immune escape or vaccine escape does have some basis. Think about the widespread use (and oftentimes misuse) of antibiotics which has led to the appearance of MRO's like MRSA & MDR-TB. Those are the result of people (or the animals we eat) being treated with antibiotics where no bacteria infection existed (covid vaccine implementation is different because it is employed where covid infection is widespread in the community and those vaccines are meant to be preventative not treatment) or it has been a result of patients not completing their full course of treatment (in terms of covid vaccines the parallel would be experiencing a mutation before receiving the 2nd shot or not even getting that 2nd shot, or booster should that be determined necessary). However, while epidemiologists recognize the possibility of a similar thing occuring with the covid vaccines, very few (other than fringe quacks) express major concern about it or, at least, believe the danger of mutations originating from the unvaccinated is much greater.

The evidence for this is so obvious that it shouldn't take an epidemiologist to understand it. Just as the fact that 97% of the people in hospitals for covid now are unvaccinated (and 99.9% of those dying from covid) is clear evidence of the efficscy of the vaccines, just as the percentages of the population getting covid at all correlating negatively with the rates of vaccinations, the correlation between where mutations are originating and where very few (if any) people were vaccinated is quite high. For example, the first case of the Delta variant came in Oct 2020 from a part of India where the 1st covid shot wasn't done until Feb 2021. The Alpha variant was 1st detected in the UK but also predated any vaccinations. The Beta variant came from South Africa. The Gamma variant came from Brazil. The Eta variant probably originated in Nigeria. The Iota variant was 1st detected here in the US back in November (ie also before vaccinations but has been rapidly supplanted by the much more virulent Delta) The Kappa variant also originated in India. And the Lambda variant (which I believe you expressed concern about) originated in Peru. With the exception of the Iota variant, all of the variants thus far have occurred in countries with very limited public health systems and none have occurred in areas once vaccinations started becoming widespread. If mutations occur so much more often and rapidly in vaccinated individuals, how come there haven't been ANY new variants appearing in places with the highest vaccination rates like the oil rich countries of UAE, Qatar & Bahrain, or Chile & Uruguay (believe it or not), Israel, Singapore, Belgium, Denmark or Canada? The answer seems obvious to me not getting vaccinated and leaving areas of severe infection provides the much much greater risk when it comes to mutations (or anything else).

Our previous President once said about the Pandemic "What you're seeing and what you're reading is not what's happening," and those who still follow him have taken that to heart, ignoring the evidence that is so plain to see for the rest of us, telling people not to believe anything that comes from the so-called "fake lamestream media" (unless it comes from Faux News, OAN or Newsmax) or immunology experts like "fakey Fauci" while clinging to any anti-vax, anti-mask, covid minimizing piece of misinformation coming from quacks like Joe Mercola and Christanne Northrup (who is also a Q-anon follower).

Vaccines to this point work, (99% of hospitalizations / deaths are non vaccinated). Think it's a little too early to pin mutations on the vax.

This latest action by the Federation of State Medical Boards does it for me. I totally trust and believe that my father's heart ablation, sister in law's gallbladder removal, and friend's myocarditis after the shot are clearly just a coincidence. These vaccinations are very useful even though they don't protect you from getting or spreading the virus, they at least lessen the symptoms a bit. It's said that the flu kills more people a year than cvid. That's nonsense. The 99 percent survival rate of healthy individuals is conjecture at best. The billions of dollars the pharma companies are getting and the millions going to those dispersing it have no motive to continue to do so. It is doubtful that there will be multiple variants and multiple booster shots coming next. The fact that at least Pfizer (and most likely the others) made sure that there is absolutely no possible avenue for any legal recourse from any vaccine side effects, simply is to protect the company from wackos looking for a payday. It doesn't mean the vaccines aren't safe nor does it mean they have no idea of the possible long term side effects. Conspiracy theorists think this pandemic is being used as a psyop. The fact that hospitals were empty and nurses were choreographing dances at the height of the pandemic and now after the vaccines have been developed and administered to millions, hospitals seem to be full. That has no correlation whatsoever to the efficacy of the vaccines themselves. It is the non vaccinated now taking up hospital beds! MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, OAN, etc, have confirmed that fact. Also, it's not like the Federation of State Medical Board will take your medical license away if, you as a doctor, report there are just as many if not more vaccinated using hospital beds. A vaccine is a product that created immunity to a disease. It's not something that lessens symptoms. Hydroxycloriquin lessens symptoms, it's been proven. The psuedo-vaccines have not been shown to lessen symptoms, in fact it's likely they make symptoms worse. We're being lied to.
