As someone mentioned, it's been renamed to coffee but the open sign was off and no cars in the parking lot. No phone number on sign and I couldn't find any newer ads to see if they were open.

Do you know what the new regulations are now? I wish the city would focus on bigger things that body rub establishments. There are far more dangers in our city that need addressing than whatever happens behind closed doors between two adults.

Looks like they are requiring places pay for a license, keep all external windows unobstructed (so no tint or curtains), keep a register of patrons, restrict hours so they are closed 10 PM to 7 AM, establish dress codes, let code enforcement offices inspect the place twice a year billed to the facility, post copies of employees' licenses in a conspicuous place along with a notice about human trafficking, have a copy of a fully executed lease or a signed and notarized statement from the landlord or property owner acknowledging the use of the property for a massage business if they don't own the property, take on the cost of background checks and inspections as part of the application process, among other things. There's a couple of articles from November of last year talking about them, and I found the actual ordinance, but it's a lot of legal-ese.

So, if I were DJ I would:

1. Pay for the license. It is a tax write off anyway.

2. Keep the windows unobstructed, but I would install patient curtains similar to hospital beds around the massage tables. (Windows are clear, but no one can see anything thru the window).

3. Use altered names for patrons. Example Bob instead of Robert, Richard rather than Dick, Craig rather than Greg, Or just use fake names.

4. Follow dress code (what happens behind the patient curtains, no one will know).

I hope DJ has thought of all this, or finds this post. It is such a shame that the city puts this much thought into a business that does no harm to the public, and pays their taxes as any business would.

And, he could just start letting the girls do outcalls. Those rules don't apply to motels and client homes.
