What happened was we met once at a bar, then a second time for an absolutely delicious dream. At that point I paid her her first month of allowance and she immediately disappeared and went radio silent. So it was definitely a scam. Ever since then I have never paid a month's allowance in advance. I start off weekly then go to twice monthly after a month or two. Didn't stop me getting ripped off in other ways though, but that's for another day maybe. .

They'll make up some bullshit to justify disappearing like I was sick, somebody died, I got robbed etc etc. Paying in advance is a no no.
